Recorded live in HD from Milan’s famous La Scala, master director Peter Stein and conductor Zubin Mehta’s celebrated 5-star production of Verdi’s sublime lyric opera Aida is coming to Palace Barracks. The luminous American soprano Kristin Lewis stars as the doomed Ethiopian princess, joined by acclaimed Georgian mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili as her rival Amneris.
