“EMIRATES GOLF REWARDS” 2016 PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and
Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions. All times indicated in these Terms and Conditions are
AEST or AEDST, as applicable in Sydney (NSW) on the relevant date.
2. The promoter of this promotion is Golf Link Partners Pty Limited (ABN 95 081
497 154) of Level 7, 50 Berry Street North Sydney NSW 2060 (“Promoter”).
3. Entry is open to residents of Australia who are: (a) aged 18 years or over; (b)
Golf Link members with a current and valid Golf Link Number; and (c)
available to take the prizes as outlined in these Terms and Conditions, if
drawn as a winner.
4. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and agencies
associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Employees of Emirates,
ABN 81 073 569 696, (“Emirates’) and/or their immediate family are also not
eligible to enter the promotion. Immediate family means any of the following:
spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by
adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt,
niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
5. The promotion commences on 12/08/2016 and ends at 11:59pm on
03/11/2016 (“Promotional Period”).
6. This promotion is divided into two (2) elements; the major draw element
(“Major Draw”) and the minor draws element (“Minor Draws”).
Major Draw
7. Subject to the exception outlined in this clause, to be eligible to enter the
Major Draw element, eligible individuals must register to participate in this
promotion during the Promotional Period by visiting
www.golflink.com.au and
following the prompts to the “Emirates Golf Rewards” Promotion registration
page, inputting the requested details, including their current/valid Golf Link
Number, and submitting the fully completed online registration page so that it
is received during the Promotional Period. By completing a successful
registration, eligible individuals will be awarded one (1) automatic entry into
the Major Draw.
8. Eligible individuals who participated in the “Emirates Golf Rewards 2015
Promotion” will receive an email from the Promoter instructing them that they
do not need to re-register for this promotion by following the above
instructions; rather, such individuals will automatically be registered for this
promotion and receive (1) entry into the Major Draw, unless they elect to opt
out, as instructed in the email sent by the Promoter.

9. Only one (1) entry into the Major Draw is permitted per person.
10. The Major Draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, Suit 5, Erina Plaza 210
Central Coast Highway, Erina NSW 2250 on 07/11/2016 at 3:00pm. The
Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in
case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified
in writing within two (2) business days of the draw and their name will be
published online at
www.golflink.com.au from 10/11/2016.
11. The first valid entry drawn in the Major Draw, from all valid entries received,
will win a VIP Golf trip to London, to attend the BMW PGA Championship
2017, for two (2) adults (“Major Prize”). The Major Prize is valued at up to
AU$28,288 in total depending on point of departure. The Major Prize includes:
VIP Golf Trip To London
Return business class tickets on Emirates, with point of origin as either
Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth, to London (Heathrow
Airport) for winner and 1 (one) guest (“Flight Tickets”);
Four (4) nights 4 star twin share accommodation in London;
Chauffeur-drive service round trip in Australia from winner home (one pickup
location only) to airport;
Return airport to hotel chauffer transfers for two (2) adults in London; and
2 x tickets per day at the BMW PGA Championship 2017 held at
Wentworth Club, Virginia Water, Surrey, England on 27th & 28th May
2017 (Saturday and Sunday).
The Major Prize must be taken to coincide with the BMW PGA Championship
2017 taking place on 27th and 28th of May 2017 and is subject to booking and
flight availability. The Promoter will liaise with the winner to determine the
exact dates of travel to ensure that the winner is in London for the BMW PGA
Championship 2017, however, if agreement cannot be reached, the Promoter
will determine the exact dates/times of travel. The flights are available on a
positive space basis. Emirates Airline will do everything reasonably possible
to accommodate the winner’s chosen flight times, however due to space
limitations alternatives may be required. Airline tickets are valid for travel on
Emirates services only, over the specified routing and in the stated class of
travel. Travel restrictions may apply. All bookings must be coordinated and
booked through Emirates. The Major Prize cannot be taken in conjunction
with any other Emirates offer.
Flight Tickets are valid on Emirates only and are non-extendable, nontransferable,
non-re-routable, non-endorsable and non en-cashable and shall
at all times be subject to availability and Emirates Conditions of Carriage and
applicable ticket conditions as set out on the Emirates website. The winner
and where applicable their guest must travel together on the same dates /
sectors on both outward and return journeys. If a winner or where applicable
the guest is unable to utilize the flights no cash alternative will be provided.
All travel documentation and visas must be up to date and are the
responsibility of the winner and where applicable the guest. Flight Tickets do

not include access to the Emirates Lounges. Skywards miles are not
accruable on the flights.
Nothing in this Agreement requires Emirates to provide transportation to any
person except in accordance with:
Emirates General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage
and travel documents, including airline tickets and airway bills, issued
by Emirates;
Emirates Schedule of Operations in place from time to time; and
the relevant immigration rules applicable to any ticket holder.
Except in accordance with and subject to the limitations set out under
Australian law, in the Warsaw Convention 1929 (as amended by the Hague
Protocol 1955), the Montreal Convention 1999, and its travel documents
(including but not limited to airline tickets and airway bills), Emirates accepts
no liability to any person for any liabilities, losses, claims, demands, costs or
expenses arising directly or indirectly from the utilisation of Flight Tickets
provided pursuant to the promotion.
Minor Draws
12. There will be three (3) Minor Draws conducted for this promotion (each a
“Minor Draw”).
13. To be eligible to enter a Minor Draw, eligible individuals must:
a) submit a successful registration in accordance with clause 7 above;
and
b) between 12/08/2016 and 11:59pm on 03/11/2016 complete and submit
their scores of eligible club competition golf (to their Golf Club), in
accordance with the official rules of their Golf Club.
Golf Clubs must provide the scores submitted to them, to the Promoter as per
the standard process/golf operations and within the required time frames. Golf
scores must be provided for inclusion into the Golf Link database for an
individual to be eligible for a particular Minor Draw.
14. If an individual ‘beats their recorded handicap’ (specified on their Golf Link
account) as evidenced on their eligible club competition golf scores submitted,
that individual will be awarded one (1) automatic entry into the relevant Minor
Draw (being the Minor Draw corresponding to the date the entrant submitted
the eligible score to their club in accordance with clause 13(b)). For the
purposes of this promotion, the definition of ‘beating a recorded handicap’
means to successfully attain 37 stableford scoring points minimum per
competition round (“Baseline”). A score of 37 stableford scoring points per
competition round qualifies as one (1) successful entry in the relevant Minor
Draw. Eligible individuals will also earn one (1) additional entry into the
relevant Minor Draw for each stableford scoring point scored above the
Baseline (e.g. they will receive a total of two (2) entries if they score 38

stableford scoring points, three (3) entries if they score 39 stableford scoring
points, etc.).
15. If an eligible individual ‘beats their recorded handicap’ in accordance with the
instructions above, however, has not yet registered to participate in the
“Emirates Golf Rewards” Promotion, they will receive notification from the
Promoter congratulating them on ‘beating their recorded handicap’ and
encouraging them to register in order to receive an entry into the Major Draw
and the relevant Minor Draw. Registration in this instance must take place
during the relevant Minor Draw in which the entrant ‘beat their recorded
handicap’ in order for the entrant to receive an entry into the relevant Minor
Draw.
16. Submissions of eligible scores by entrants for each Minor Draw open at
12:00am and close at 11.59pm on the dates indicated in the table below. The
Minor Draws will take place at Anisimoff Legal, Suit 5, Erina Plaza 210 Central
Coast Highway, Erina, NSW 2250 at 3:00pm on the dates indicated in the
table below. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record
them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The
winners will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the relevant
Minor Draw and their names will be published online at
www.golflink.com.aucommencing on the dates indicated in the table below.

17. The first valid entry drawn in each Minor Draw will each win a Golf Trip to
Sydney for the Emirates Australian Open 2016 for two (2) adults valued up to
AU$3,637 depending on date and point of departure (“Minor Prize”). Each
Minor Prize includes:
Return economy class airfares for two (2) adults from the winner's nearest
capital city to Sydney, NSW (only provided if winner resides outside of
NSW). If the winner is from NSW, then the prize does not include airfares
and the airfare component of the prize is not redeemable for cash;
One (1) night (minimum 3 star) twin share accommodation in Sydney,
NSW on 19/11/2016; and
Two (2) VIP marquee passes to attend the Emirates Australian Open 2016
including access to the Emirates Marquee on 19/11/2016.
The Minor Prize must be taken to coincide with the Emirates Australian Open
2016 event with flights departing on 19/11/2016 and is subject to booking and
flight availability.
General

18. Unless otherwise specified above, spending money, meals, taxes (excluding
airline and airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport
to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room
charges and all other ancillary costs are not included in any prize. Whilst
travel insurance is not provided, the Promoter recommends that winners and
their travel companions obtain travel insurance for the duration of any prize.
Any costs associated with travel insurance obtained will be the responsibility
of the winners and their travel companions.
19. Each winner and their companion must depart from and return to the same
departure point and travel together. Itinerary for each prize to be determined
by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent flyer points will not form
part of any prize. Prizes are subject to the standard terms and conditions of
individual prize and service providers. Winners may be required to present
their credit card at time of accommodation check in for each prize.
20. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries
and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the
Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and
Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or
other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of
the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's
discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage
does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to
recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
21. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
22. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the
right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
23. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
24. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clauses 28 and 29, if for any reason a
winner does not take a prize (or an element of the prize) then the prize (or that
element of the prize) will be forfeited.
25. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion,
reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize
to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a
regulatory authority.
26. The Emirates Australian Open 2016 passes and BMW PGA Championship
2017 ticket prizes are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and
conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event
organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or
his/her companion) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited
to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of a prize.

27. Total prize pool value is up to AU$39,199. Prizes, or any unused portion of a
prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
28. A draw for any unclaimed Minor Draw prizes may take place on 10/11/2016 at
the same time and place as the original Minor Draws, subject to any directions
from a regulatory authority. Winners (if any) will be notified by telephone and
in writing within two (2) business days of the draw and their names will be
published online at
www.golflink.com.au from 11/11/2016.
29. A draw for the Major Draw prize if unclaimed may take place on 07/02/2017 at
the same time and place as the original Major Draw, subject to any directions
from a regulatory authority. Winner (if any) will be notified by telephone and in
writing within two (2) business days of the draw and their name will be
published online at
www.golflink.com.au from 10/02/2017.
30. As a condition of accepting and taking a prize, the winners and their traveling
companions each agree to being recorded, interviewed and photographed
during each prize. The winners and their travelling companions also each
consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice
(including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an
unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this
promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products
manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
31. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being
conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the
reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical
difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right,
in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any
entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to
modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
32. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s
responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use
of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means
that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will
render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
33. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or
purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as
provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other
implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in
the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”).
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the NonExcludable
Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers,
employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any
personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether
direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of
the promotion.

34. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the NonExcludable
Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers,
employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability
(including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage
(including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or
consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or
equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any
theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize
claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after
their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these
Terms and Conditions; (e) if the Emirates Australian Open 2016 event is
delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
(g) use of and/or attendance at a prize event.
35. As a condition of accepting a prize, the winners (and their companions) must
sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter
and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a
legal release and indemnity form.
36. The Promoter collects and uses the entrant’s personal information ("PI") in
order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose or transmit
such PI to third parties rendering services in relation to the promotion,
including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize
suppliers, Emirates and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. By
entering the promotion and providing PI the entrant authorises the Promoter
to collect and process PI in this manner. The Promoter and Emirates will also
use and handle PI as set out in their Privacy Policies, which can be viewed
at
www.golflink.com.au (for the Promoter) and
www.Emirates.com (for
Emirates). In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s and
Emirate’s Privacy Policies, the Promoter and/or Emirates may, for an
indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional,
marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending
electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Each of the Promoter and
Emirates will comply with their relevant Privacy Policies when utilising
entrants PI.
The Promoter’s and Emirate’s Privacy Policies contain information about how
entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may
complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other
applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. If the requested PI is not
provided, the individual may not be eligible to enter.
The Promoter will not disclose entrants’ PI to any entity outside of Australia
other than the winner’s details for the purposes of prize fulfilment.
PI Collected by Emirates
In accepting the prize the winner acknowledges that Emirates will use PI
provided by the winner in rendering services in connection with the Flight
