If you'd like a chance to win a family pass to come along and watch this spectacular event, just like and share this post. We have two passes to give away and winners will be announced on Friday 31st.
It was Keith Ryall (King Keith as he was known by many), who originally had the dream of building a castle over 40 years ago, and it's in his memory that eight Knights of Kryal Castle, old and new will take to the field to joust and win the title of this year's champion.
The new “Story of Kryal” exhibit, is a new permanent feature put together by friends and family of King Keith, to remember him and show the story of the construction of the castle and its early days of operations in the 70’s. The exhibit includes old costumes, relics, newspaper articles and television footage of King Keith and Kryal Castle in the early years.
Access to the Story of Kryal exhibit and the Jousting tournament is all included with a regular Kryal Castle entry. Jousting begins at 11am.
The jousting competition will be in two rounds, with the final winner being awarded a $500 cash prize by the Ryall family.
Competitors are: Phillip Leitch, Cliff Marisma, Katherine McWade, David Williamson, Dylan Phasey, Tony Hodges, Greg Nash and Justin Holland. Craig Sitch will be marshalling the event.
