After the death of their adoptive mother, twins Norman and Annabelle quit the hostile confines of post-Brexit Slough and adventure to Australia in search of their biological mother, but the ostensibly welcoming townsfolk are hiding a dark, meaty secret: the pair must reconcile their differences to fight for their lives in this playfully dark comedy-horror.
Written by and starring Jordan Waller, directed by Jesse O’Brien, and featuring a who’s who of Australian character actors, including Kerry Armstrong, Gary Sweet, Stephen Hunter, Kevin Harrington and Don Bridges, Two Heads Creek is a gross-out hoot from start to finish, with a political edge. If you laughed at Stephan Elliott’s Welcome to Woop Woop and Peter Weir’s The Cars That Ate Paris, then you’ll get a big kick out of Two Heads Creek.
