AFLW Bid Support – The Sydney Swans launched their bid to be a part of Season 7 of the AFLW competition, commencing in late 2022. In a wide spread social media campaign, involving players (past and current), ambassadors, members, fans and much more, the support has seen thousands of registrations in support. Unbelievable dash to the airport – With border closures looming due to the Covid outbreak, the Swans packed their bags and headed to Victoria in only a matter of hours, ensuring the competition would continue. The team currently remains in Melbourne.
