The Australian String Quartet (ASQ) is bringing a cathedral of sound to Brisbane Powerhouse, treating audiences to a one-night-only evening of orchestral elegance and technical mastery. The evening’s three-part program is set to take concertgoers on a sensory journey, opening with Britten’s colourful piece, Three Divertimenti, followed by a world premiere from Australian composer David Paterson. The evening cumulates in a radiant recital of Beethoven’s iconic third and final Razumovsky – a triumphant movement and the perfect end-note for this string-spectacular.
