FOJAM Presents: When Women Speak of War - Artists Reckon with Wars Declared and Hidden.  

Co-curated by Jewish Ukrainian-Australian-Maria Tumarkin, this world premier event brings together Sephardic Jewish Romance music, contemporary writing, Ukrainian folk songs; First Peoples storytelling; a local hip hop artist; multimedia collaboration with Bosnian refugees accompanied by live music, violin and piano virtuosos plus Yiddish and Hebrew folklore.

With a palpable sense of urgency, this year's event is as much about the past as it is about the present.
