The Children’s Hospital Foundation Nine Telethon Competition (“the Competition”) is run and operated by Flat Earth Direct, of Brisbane, Qld, 4053 (“the Promoters”) on behalf of the Children’s Hospital Foundation Queensland (“CHF”).
Promotions in relation to the Competition will commence on 13 April 2022 and run until 12.01pm Queensland time on 22 April 2022 (“the Promotion Period”). Entries submitted or received after the closing date will be deemed invalid and will not be accepted.
Valid entries are those submitted via the competition entry form from the start date of the promotion until the end date.
Only entrants over 18 years in age are eligible to win the dual passes to the Telethon concert.
Names and likenesses of Promotion and Competition winner(s) may be used by CHF for promotional purposes without the need for further consent and without further compensation to the Promotion and Competition winner(s).
After the closing date, all submissions will be held on file by CHF at level 14/199 Grey St, South Brisbane QLD 4101, until the announcement of the Competition winner.
The winning entry will be drawn by CHF after 12:01pm 22 April 2022. The holder of the winning entry will be notified on this date by SMS, Phone, or Email. The $500 WISH gift card will be drawn first, and then the additional 5x dual passes to the Telethon concert will be drawn consecutively after.
In the event of an accident, disaster, outbreak, fire, theft, or any event that results in the cancellation of the Nine Telethon Concert, the Promoters retain the right to suspend or cancel the Competition.
Competition submissions are not transferable. The winner of the Wish gift card can claim their prize up until 21 May 2022. The winners of the dual passes to the Telethon concert can be claimed until 1:00 pm, 23 April 2022.
If the winner/s are not present for the dual passes to the Telethon concert tickets, these will not be redrawn. If the winner is not present for the WISH gift card after 30 days of attempted contact, this will be redrawn and the new winner notified.
Conduct of the Competition, including decision on the eligibility of persons to enter, shall be the sole responsibility of the management of the Promoters, whose decision in all matters shall be final. No correspondence shall be entered into.
The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed fraudulent or not valid in relation to the competition ask.
