The project for kids is founded by a teacher, mum and an entrepreneur for children 8-12 with the sole objective in mind: to teach kids essential life skills yearly and connect their academic knowledge to real life.
The idea of the project was born when Julie, a Melbourne-based mother of two primary school children, realised that modern education misses a very important point of answering the question her own kids once had: Why do I need to go to school? Why do I need to learn neat handwriting? Why do I need to write right given typed texts are easily autocorrected?
By creating this project, she was willing to establish this connection and motivate kids to become what they want to be through active, self-driven learning. This prompted her to unpack her teaching degree and recent teaching experience in primary school classrooms along with her entrepreneurial experience of the past 17 years, and blend them into amazing online courses designed specifically for kids.
She generously shares the knowledge and ignites the spark for independent learning through highly engaging examples kids see in their everyday life.

Julie created these courses with her own children in mind.
