Paris-based Venezuelan soprano Samuel Mariño makes his dazzling debut with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra this September in The Soprano.
An intrepid innovator, this rising star has been blazing a bright trail reviving operatic roles originally written for high-male voice on mainstream opera and concert stages in Europe. The Soprano is a passionate tour through the most stirring arias from the 17th and 18th centuries from the likes of Handel and Vivaldi, as well as lesser-known music from Hasse.
