The Booktopia promotions (“the Promotions”) is provided by Booktopia Pty Ltd ABN 24 096 845 126, Unit E1, 3-29 Birnie Avenue, Lidcombe, NSW 2141 (“the Promoter”). These terms and conditions (including without limitation the information on how to enter and the prize giveaway details which we publish in relation to the Promotions) apply to the Promotions.

The terms and conditions below sets out important information about the Booktopia current promotions and the details of prize giveaways offered during Booktopia promotions.

By participating in the promotion(s) entrants agree to be bound by the Conditions. Entries must comply with the Conditions to be valid.

1. ENTRY ELIGIBILITY

(a) All Booktopia Promotion Prize Giveaways
Entry is open to new and existing customers of Booktopia who make a purchase from www.booktopia.com.au during the identified promotion period as specified for each giveaway. Employees (and immediate family members) of the Promoter and associated agencies/suppliers are ineligible to enter the competition. Participants who are under the age of 18 must seek permission from their parent or guardian.

To enter the various Booktopia promotions you must either purchase online at www.booktopia.com.au any book or product, a specifically identified individual book or product, or books or products from a pre-defined selection depending on the individual prize giveaway you wish to enter. (Refer to the individual prize giveaway entry eligibility as outlined in the Prize Giveaway and Eligibility Section 12 below). All valid purchases will be entered into the prize draw of the identified prize giveaways. Multiple entries are permitted. To be eligible to enter the competition, entrants must be opted into recieving Booktopia emails via the same email used when purchasing the eligible product.

2. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

The promotion period for each current prize giveaway promotion is outlined in Section 12 – Prize Giveaway and Eligibility section below. (“Promotional Period”)

3. LOCATION OF DRAW

All Booktopia promotion prize giveaway draws will take place at Unit E1, 3-29 Birnie Avenue, Lidcombe, NSW 2141, NSW.

4. NOTIFICATION OF DRAW RESULTS

The final results of the various Booktopia promotions draws will be published on the Booktopia website here. All eligible prize winners will be notified by email and/or mail to confirm their address details and how to collect/receive/redeem their prize.

If winners are unable to be contacted within the time specified to claim after the announcement date, a second chance redraw will take place.

5. REPLACEMENT OF PRIZES

If the prize or any part of the prize provided by the Promoter cannot, in the opinion of the Promoter, be provided for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize to the same value as that part of the prize being replaced.

6. TRANSFERABILITY OF PRIZES

All prize giveaways are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken in cash.

7. DECISIONS ARE FINAL

The promoter’s determination regarding the draw is final and binding on all elements. No correspondence will be entered between the promoter and entrants. The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged or manipulated or tampered in any way.

8. MINORS

If a winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to winner’s parent or guardian.

9. PROMOTION PRIVACY

As a result of you entering the competition, we will collect certain personal information about you, such as your name, email address and phone number. If you are a prize winner, we may share your personal information with a third party, that being the publisher or company who provided the prize for the purpose of organising delivery of your prize.

10. PROMOTER

The promoter is Booktopia Pty Ltd (ABN 24 096 845 126) of Unit E1, 3-29 Birnie Avenue, Lidcombe, NSW 2141.

11. AUTHORISATIONS

These conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us as to its subject matter. By entering the promotion, you accept that this agreement is to be interpreted, and any disputes are to be determined by the courts having jurisdiction in New South Wales, in accordance with the laws in force in New South Wales from time to time.

12. PRIZE GIVEAWAYS & ENTRY ELIGIBILITY NOTES

All prize amounts are stated in Australian Dollars and any one prize will not exceed $3000.


Order from our New Year promotion between 27 December, 2022, and 31 January, 2023, for your chance to win 1 of 5 Keep it Cleaner prize packs!

1. Competition begins 12.00am 27 December, 2022, and ends at 11.59pm 31 January, 2023, AEDT
2. Entrants must purchase a featured product (book) from the New Year New You promotion from Booktopia during the competition period to be in the draw. eBooks and digital audiobooks are not eligible products.
3. Only entrants with Australian delivery addresses will be eligible to enter the competition. One entry per order, where the order includes a featured product (book) from the New Year New You promotion.
4. The winners of the competition will be chosen at random.
5. There are five (5) prizes available to be won. The prize is a Keep it Cleaner prize pack which includes a one-year subscription to Keep it Cleaner valued at $115 (including GST, redeemable at https://keepitcleaner.com), plus Keep it Cleaner groceries: 1 x Whey Protein Powder ($33), 1 x Faba Bean Protein Powder ($33), 1 x Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder ($33), 1 x Collagen Powder ($35), 6 x Collagen bars (total $21), 6 x Plant Crunch Bars (total value $21), 6 x Nut Butter Balls (total value $21), 6 x Lentil Chips (total value $33), 3 x Pasta (total value $13.80), 3 x Pasta Sauce (total value $12). The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken in cash.

7. Each prize is valued at RRP $370.80 AUD. The total prize pool is valued at $1,854.
8. The winner will be contacted and announced by 7 February, 2023.
9. Orders must be current and not cancelled (except by Booktopia) on the date of the draw or in the event of subsequent re-draws to be eligible.
