TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
How to enter:
Entries can be submitted either:
(a) Online through the website bit.ly/pawscolourcomp
OR
(b) In person or via mail by completing the downloadable PDF 2023 entry
form available on Council’s website and returning to Camden Council,
PO Box 183 Camden NSW 2570. Posted forms need to be received by
Council on or before the closing date specified in clause 3. A paper entry
form can be organised by contacting the Events Team on
events@camden.nsw.gov.au.
OR
(c) Via email by completing the downloadable PDF 2023 entry form and
returning to events@camden.nsw.gov.au.
Understand, agree, and accept all Terms and Conditions detailed here and on
the entry form.
Eligibility: All Entrants must be located with the Camden Local Government Area.
Entrants must be the parent or legal guardian of children aged 4 – 12 years
old as at 1 May 2023. Entry must be of the parent/guardian’s child(ren)’scolouring in.
Camden Council Events team employees, their families and household
members are ineligible to enter.
Format: Entries must be through one of the methods detailed under ‘How to Enter’.
Entries submitted in any other form will not be accepted.
Entries can be in any medium such as paint, pencil, watercolour, or crayon.
Number of entries: Only one entry per child will be accepted. Subsequent entries for the same
child will be deemed invalid.

1. The promoter is Camden Council, ABN 31 117 341 764, 70 Central Avenue, Oran Park NSW 2570.
2. Any updates to the Terms and Conditions will be published on our website
www.camdencouncil.com.au, so it’s important to check for updates.
3. Competition opens Monday, 13 March 2023 and closes Wednesday, 26 April 2023 at 5pm. Late
entries will not be accepted.
4. Camden Council reserves the right to change the opening dates and times of this competition
without notice.
5. Camden Council reserves the right to disqualify any contestant at its sole discretion if it is of the
reasonable opinion that he/she has breached the terms and conditions or acted inappropriately
in any way.
6. Category winners will be announced at the Paws in the Park event on Sunday, 7 May 2023.
Winners will also be announced through the Camden Council Facebook Page and contacted
individually to claim their prize.
7. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. The Mayor’s selections
will be judged on the following criteria:
a. Creative use of materials
b. Creativity in the artwork design
8. The decision of the Mayor is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Camden Council will not accept registration that it considers incomplete or incorrect.
10. Camden Council may require proof of residency in the Camden Local Government Area before
confirming the winner.
11. Camden Council reserves the right to use and reproduce any photos, images, works and other
details submitted for the purposes of promotion for this competition and any other Council
initiatives.
12. By entering the competition entrants agree to have their entry submission, including personal
details of their child, listed in any Camden Council media releases, social media accounts as well
as on the Council website.

13. All entrants understand and agree that other media outlets external to Camden Council may
film, cover, air, stream, post, print or otherwise publish (including on online social media) any
part of the Camden Council Colouring in Competition. Camden Council cannot be held
responsible for coverage by any other media outlet, including any adverse effects on the
entrant.
14. If the competition cannot be run for reasons beyond Camden Council’s reasonable control,
Camden Council reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition. If cancelled under this
clause, Camden Council may choose to select a winner from eligible entries, if any, received at
the time of cancellation or it may choose to award no prize.
15. Camden Council reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel this competition at any time.

16. Camden Council will liaise with the winner to coordinate delivery of the prize in line with current
Public Health Orders.
17. Camden Council cannot be held responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries and no
compensation will be offered in the event of any technological or other malfunction with the
Camden Council website, emails or social media accounts that may adversely affect an entrant
or their entry. Council cannot be held responsible for any postal delays or other issues that may
adversely affect an entrant or their entry.
18. By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and
indemnify Camden Council, including its employees, agents and assigns from any and all liability,
damage, claim of any nature whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to their
participation in this competition (or the participation of the person under the age of 18 for
whom they are a parent or legal guardian).
19. Prizes are not negotiable, exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.
20. Lost or stolen prizes will not be replaced.
21. If a winner is not contactable by Camden Council by 3pm Friday, 12 May 2023, the prize will be
forfeited, and Council reserves the right to select another winner picked at random.
The Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (PPIPA) provides for the protection of personal
information and for the privacy of individuals, including personal information provided to Camden Council
(Council). The personal information you provide to Council is being collected for administrative and
assessment purposes. It will be used by Council staff and may be shared publicly, with other media outlets for
promotional purposes or as required by law. You may at any time apply to Council for access to or amendment
of the information in writing by email at
mail@camden.nsw.gov.au . It is your responsibility to ensure that any
information provided to Council is up to date. If you do not provide the requested information, you may not be
