Competition Terms and Conditions
Entry Conditions

    Entry is open to Australian residents, aged 18 years and over (Entrants).
    The Promotor is Bathurst Regional Council.
    The promotion commences at 12:01am AEST on Saturday 29 April 2023 and ends at 11:59pm AEST Wednesday 31 May 2023 (Promotion Period).
    To enter the Promotion, Entrants must, during the Promotion Period, go to the Bathurst Winter Festival website (https://www.bathurstwinterfestival.com.au/) and:

a) Complete the prompt: “RSVP: Are you coming to the 2023 Bathurst Winter Festival?”;

b) Include their first name, last name, mobile number, email address and postcode;

c) Complete the prompt: “How did you hear about this competition?”;

d) Agree to these Terms and Conditions

    There is a limit of one entry per person for the duration of the Promotion Period.
    Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The Promotor accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence.
    The winning entry may be featured on the Bathurst Winter Festival and Bathurst Regional Council social media accounts at its discretion.

Selecting Winners

    The prize will be drawn on Thursday 1 June 2023 and the winner (Winner) selected at random.
    The Winner will be notified via email and phone, using the contact details provided by the Entrant in this entry.
    The Winner must accept their prize within 24 hours from the time of prize notification. It is the Winner’s responsibility to actively monitor their nominated email account, including any ‘Junk’/’Spam’ folders. If the prize is not claimed or accepted within 24 hours, the prize will be forfeited by the original Winner. A replacement Winner may be selected at the Promotor’s discretion.

Prize

    There is one prize to be won (Prize) which consists of:

a) A return flight with FlyPelican for four people from Sydney Airport to Bathurst Airport departing on Friday 30 June 2023 and returning on Sunday 2 July 2023. The time of flights will be at the discretion of FlyPelican.

b) Two nights’ accommodation for four people in a two bedroom self-contained cottage at The Red Hill Nest on the nights of Friday 30 June 2023 and Saturday 1 July 2023.

c) Four tickets to the Kaleidoscope at the Bathurst Winter Festival, to be redeemed by Sunday 2 July 2023.

d) Four tickets to the giant Ferris wheel at the Bathurst Winter Festival, to be redeemed by Sunday 2 July 2023.

e) Ice skating tickets for four people to the 2pm session on the McDonald’s Bathurst Ice Rink on Saturday 1 July 2023.

    All components of the prize come as a bundle offer and together, they constitute the Prize – the components cannot be separated into parts.
    All components of the Prize must be used on or by the dates and where noted, times indicated.
    The Winner may not substitute, assign, exchange, transfer or redeem the Prize for cash.
    The Prize is subject to additional terms and conditions, including but not limited to:

a) McDonald’s Bathurst Ice Rink term and conditions.

b) The Winner must be available to travel to Bathurst, New South Wales, departing Friday 30 June 2023 returning Sunday 2 July 2023. The Winner is responsible for organising transfers (at their sole cost).

    The Winner is responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals, drinks, transfers, laundry charges, activities, incidentals, taxes, energy surcharges, gratuities, service charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. The Promotor is not responsible for any cancellation, delay or rescheduling of flights and any costs incurred as a result (including, without limitation, accommodation costs) will be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
    The Prize will be awarded to the Entrant named in the entry.

Contacting the Entrant

    By entering this Promotion, Entrants agree to be contacted in relation to this Promotion by the Promotor.
    The Promotor reserves the right to request that a Winner provides proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a Prize.
