The round-the-houses Sprints on Queensland’s southern Darling Downs will be staged on 19 & 20 August, celebrating the 27th running since its founding in 1996 and 74 years since the little bush town hosted the 1949 Australian Grand Prix.

While more than 200 cars of all types and vintages race one-at-a-time against the clock on a 1.0 kilometre closed-street course, there’s plenty more family fun including the Shannons Show ‘n’ Shine, vintage caravan display, markets, live music, race car rides and much more.
