Starring Kelvin Harrison Jr., Lucy Boynton, Minnie Driver and Australia’s own Samara Weaving, CHEVALIER is inspired by the true story of composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, an illegitimate son of an African slave and a
French plantation owner. Bologne (Harrison Jr.) rose to improbable heights in French society as a celebrated violinist-composer and fencer, complete with an ill-fated love affair and a falling out with Marie Antoinette (Boynton) and her court.
CHEVALIER opens at Dendy Cinemas Coorparoo and Portside August 3.
