COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
HOW TO ENTER
Entry into the competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. To enter visit the Club Marine website at
www.clubmarine.com.au/win and fill in the competition form. One entry per person during the promotional period.
The Promoter is Club Marine Limited of 40 Esplanade, Brighton Victoria 3186, phone 1300 00 2582, ABN 12 007 588 347.
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter the competition. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each entry and to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process. Further, any contact details provided incorrectly may be deemed by the Promoter as an invalid entry.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Entry is made by completing and submitting the entry form on
www.clubmarine.com.au/win You must be at least 18 years old.
You must be a permanent resident of Australia.
Only one (1) entry available per person.
PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion commences on Tuesday 23rd May 2023 at 9am (AEDT) and runs until Sunday October 29th, 2023, at 6pm (AEDT).
PRIZE DRAW
The winners of the major prize and the four runner-up prizes will be randomly drawn using a computer-generated system by a representative of the Promoter. The major prize winner will be the first number in the computer-generated draw. The Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
The draw will take place at Club Marine, 40 Esplanade, Brighton on Wednesday 1st November 2023 at 10am (AEDT).
PRIZE
Major prize -
Two (2) return flights to the winner’s choice of either Melbourne or Sydney from the winners nearest capital city within Australia. Return transfers provided at prize location.
One (1) hotel room accommodation (double or twin share) for two nights at the winner’s choice of either Melbourne or Sydney including breakfast
One (1) day boat trip with Al McGlashan. Fishing and safety equipment and lunch to be provided.
Two (2) dinners to the value of $200 per dinner. Total $400.
Value AU$5,500
Runner up prizes –
Four (4) Tundra 110 Hard Cooler. Value AU$699.95 per cooler. One per person. To be delivered to the winners nominated address.
PRIZE VALUE
The total value of the prizes to be awarded during the Promotion Period is AU$8,300 The value is accurate at the date of publication of these terms and conditions. Major prize value may change subject to the winner’s location. Prize specifications are subject to change at the absolute discretion of the Prize suppliers. Cooler colour may change. The prize includes GST.
NOTIFICATION
The Prize Winner will be notified by phone by a Club Marine representative by 5pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 1st November 2023. All winners will be listed on the Club Marine website for 28 days from the draw date. Runner-up prizes will be sent to the winners nominated address.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE
If any prizes remain unclaimed after three (3) months from the original draw date, another entry will be drawn: 10am on 1st February 2024. Any winners from the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by phone by a Club Marine representative by 5pm (AEDT) on 2nd February 2024. The Prize Winners will be listed on the Club Marine website for 28 days from the redraw date. Runner-up prizes will be sent to the winners nominated address.
If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
PERMISSIBLE BY LAW
To the fullest extent permissible by law, each entrant in the Promotion including without limitation the Prize Winner, release the Promoter from any claim, loss, damage, expense (including any claim for legal expenses), cost or charge sustained or in any way incurred by such entrant in connection with the Prize or their participation in the Promotion. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential, or economic loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition, or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any unauthorised intervention, or any combination thereof, including any non-delivery or corruption of entries to the Promoter, injury or damage to participants’ or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
In the event that the prize is not available strictly as advertised and published through no fault of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, at its discretion, to offer an alternative prize of similar content, description and value, or offer the Prize Winner a payment equal to the value of the original prize as published and advertised
