Terms & Conditions
1. Sponsor: The Sponsors of Win a Trip to Lomani Island Resort in Fiji are Lomani Island Resort and Fiji Airways.
2. Eligibility: Win a Trip to Lomani Island Resort (the "Competition") is only open to couples who sign up at
https://gleam.io/xitDL/win-a-trip-to-lomani-island-resort and are at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry. The Competition is open to all couples globally however flights are only included from Australia, New Zealand and West Coast North America (see departure ports in 3 below). Fijian locals are also welcome to enter however flights will therefore not be required. Employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors, and agents of Lomani Island Resort (the "Sponsor") their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Competition. The Competition is subject to all applicable Fiji laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
3. Prize Inclusions:
Return economy class flights for two adults on Fiji Airways serviced flights from any of the following ports, subject to availability at the time of booking, including applicable taxes. It is the winner's responsibility to make their own way to and from the most convenient port:
Australia – Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide or Canberra
New Zealand – Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch
North America – Los Angeles, San Francisco or Vancouver
5 nights accommodation at Lomani Island Resort in the Best Available Room, subject to availability at the time of booking. Travel is valid between 08 Jan-19 Mar 2024, 01 Apr-23 December 2024, 08 Jan-31 Mar 2025. * Accommodation includes breakfast daily, complimentary standard WiFi in public areas, evening turndown service, a Lomani beach bag and the following complimentary tours and activities: Snorkelling gear, Kayaks, Glass-bottomed kayaks, Stand up paddle boards, Hobie cat sailing boats, Windsurfers, Bicycles, Gym, Outer reef snorkelling trips, Dolphin Safari Tour*, Village Tour**, Handline fishing trip*, Coconut husking demonstration, Kava Ceremony, Sarong tying lesson, Basket weaving lesson and Meet the Manager’s party with complimentary beverages (Wednesdays). (*These activities are operated according to tides and are therefore not run at the same time or day every week. ** All guests experiencing the Village Tour are asked to donate a $10 landing fee, which is donated into the village community bank account. This money is used to support the villager lifestyle. The $10 tax free donation will be added to your room account and remitted to the community bank account on your behalf.)

o 1 x Special occasion set up for two people. This may include designing the perfect setting for a romantic proposal, venue and decorations for an intimate elopement ceremony or a private romantic dining set up either beachside or for a beach picnic. Set up includes private venue and decorations/theming only. Does not include food, beverages or any other special requirements.
All other food, beverages and incidentals not mentioned above are not included and will be an additional cost.
Return transfers to Lomani Island Resort on Malolo Cat ferry from Port Denarau. The ferry takes approximately 50 minutes and departs Denarau Marina at 7.30am, 10.30am, 2.00pm and 5.30pm. The return ferry departs Lomani Island Resort at 5.45am, 8.45am, 12.15pm and 3.45pm. Includes complimentary scheduled shuttle bus transfers from/to Nadi Airport and Fiji Gateway Hotel.
1 night’s accommodation in the Best Available Room at Fiji Gateway Hotel (across the road from Nadi International Airport) if required due to flight and ferry times not matching.
The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except for at the Sponsor's discretion. The prize is non-transferable. Substitution of the prize or transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent of the prize by the Winner is not permitted. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all taxes and transport to the closest applicable airport shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Agreement to Rules: By entering the Competition, the contestant ("You") agrees to comply with and abide by these Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the Sponsor's decisions as final and binding as it relates to the content of this campaign. Entrants should look solely to the Sponsor with any questions, comments or issues related to the Competition.
4. Entry Period: The Competition begins on 4 September, 2023 at 9:00AM Fiji time and ends on 30 November, 2023 at 17:00PM Fiji Time (the "Entry Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
5. How to Enter: The Competition must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided at
https://gleam.io/xitDL/win-a-trip-to-lomani-island-resort and pass any verification requirements (email) set by the Sponsor. The entry requirements include a photo and story about your romance journey and what a Lomani Island Resort escape would mean to you and your special someone. You must fulfil all requirements of the Competition, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications of the Competition may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules of the Competition, your submission may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
6. How to Win: The winner is determined by the highest number of ‘votes’ on

7. Winner Selection and Notification: The Winner will be notified by Friday 8th December 2023. The results will also be posted on Lomani Island Resort Facebook and Instagram platforms. The Sponsor shall have no liability for a Winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for a Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 7 days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt of the prize offered in this Campaign by the Winner is conditioned upon compliance with any and all laws and regulations. Any violation of these official rules by the Winner at the Sponsor's sole discretion will result in the Winner's disqualification as winner, and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated.
8. Rights Granted by the Entrant: By entering this content (e.g., photo, text, etc.), You understand and agree that the Sponsor and anyone acting on behalf of the Sponsor or its respective licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, likeness, image, personal story, statements about the Campaign, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. By entering this content, you represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship and you have the rights to publish your photo, and it does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, you will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute an infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, you shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lomani Island Resort from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which Lomani Island Resort may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.
9. Terms and Conditions: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Competition should virus, bug, non-authorised human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Competition. In such cases, the Sponsor may select a winner(s) from eligible entries received before and/or after the action taken by the Sponsor if appropriate. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Competition or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. The Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Competition, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Competition rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Competition may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability: By entering the Competition you agree to release and hold harmless Lomani Island Resort, Fiji Airways and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Competition and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the Competition; (iii) electronic or human error in the administration of the Competition or the processing of entries; (iv) technical errors of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (v) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (vi) printing errors; (vii) lost, late, postage due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail.
11. Disputes: This Competition is governed by the laws of Fiji, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. By participating in this Campaign, you agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Campaign, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Fiji having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall you be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering the Competition). You further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
12. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other social networks that are used to share the Competition. You understand that you are providing your information to the owner of the Competition and not to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other social networks.
13. Acceptance of Rules: By participating in the Competition, you have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of the Official Rules, Terms and Conditions.
14. Fiji Airways Conditions of the Award
Reservations and ticketing must be made through the Sales & Marketing office. This must be done at least ten (10) working days prior to the requested date of departure. Please have your passport details and travel dates readily available.
Visa application and associated costs are NOT the responsibility of Fiji Airways.
This ticket is NOT transferable, CANNOT be en-cashed, sold, nor can it be redeemed in any other form.
Name changes are not permitted. Once ticketed, normal fare rules and conditions of carriage apply.
Travel is valid on Fiji Airways operated (prime] services only.
Travel must be taken and be completed no later than 31 December 2024.
Accommodation transfers and meals are NOT included in this offer from Fiji Airways. Transfers and accommodation are provided by Lomani Island Resort and must be booked directly.
Due to prior commercial demand, travel restrictions will apply from time to time.
Applicable Government taxes and surcharges are NOT included with this ticket. You will be advised on the procedure for paying taxes when you contact the above-mentioned staff to book the flights.
