Quilpie Shire Council is partnering with over 34 local businesses to encourage residents to shop locally this Christmas.
Proterra Group is jumping on board again in 2023 in providing $500 shop local vouchers, so together with $3000 in vouchers provided by Council, there will be a total of $ 3,500 shop local vouchers up for grabs in 2023.
All people need to do is spend a minimum of $20 in any one of the participating businesses and drop their receipts into boxes at the participating business before midnight on Wednesday 13th December 2023.
People will have the chance to win 3 x $500 voucher packs, 15 x $100 voucher packs, and 5 x $100 vouchers from local shops provided by Proterra Group, so a total of 23 chances to win.
The vouchers will be drawn at the Combined Business Christmas Party on Friday 15th December 2023 at Mural Park.

Eligibility: Entry is free and open to residents and visitors to
the Quilpie Shire.
Prize: Support local business and you could win one of twelve
(12) local shopping voucher prize packs! There are three $500
prize packs and fifteen $100 prize packs up for grabs! Vouchers
will be issued in a mixture of denominations ($20 and $50
values). $500 in local vouchers has also been provided by
Proterra Group. This will be an additional draw to the above.
Voucher conditions: The voucher contains the value which
may only be used to purchase goods and services from a
participating Quilpie Shire business by the listed expiry date.
Please present the original voucher at the time of use and
the amount will be deducted from your visit/purchase. No
credit or change can be given on the unused portion of the
Voucher. This voucher cannot be redeemed for cash or used
to purchase cigarettes.
Entry: To enter, you must spend $20 or more in one
transaction at a participating Quilpie Shire business. The
purchase/s is required during the competition period – The
competition starts on Wednesday 25th October 2023 and
concludes at Midnight on Wednesday 13th December 2023.
Place your name and contact details on the back of the
receipt and place in an entry box located at a participating
business or drop into the box at Council’s administration
centre or Visitor Information Centre. All eligible entries must
clearly state first and last name and contact number (mobile
or landline). If this information is not clearly printed on the
receipt the entry will be deemed ineligible.
Online entry: If you need to keep your receipt simply enter on
line and if your name is drawn just make sure you can show the
receipt when claiming your prize! To complete an online entry
head to
www.quilpie.qld.gov.au and complete the online entry
form. If you do not have access to enter online simply call or
drop into Council’s administration office and we will be happy
to do it on your behalf; please bring your receipt with you as
proof of spend.
Prize draw: The winners are selected randomly on Friday 15th
December 2023 at the Combined Business Christmas Party.

specified on the entry Receipt and the details of the participating
business delivering that entry receipt in promotional, marketing
and publicity activities. The prize winners may be required to be
part of the media promotion announcing the winning details of
the competition.
