MELBOURNE SCIENCE FICTION FILM FESTIVAL (MSFFF) returns to Cinema Nova from February 23 – 25 with 10 sessions of the most wildly imaginative Sci-Fi and Fantasy cinema from across the globe and we’ve got 10x Double Passes to GIVEAWAY to the International Premiere of THAT ALIEN SOUND on Saturday 24 February 1pm.
Gender roles, acceptance of diversity, community support and rolling with the punches of a modern relationship are just some of the themes the young indie auteur addresses in this one-of-a-kind slice of eccentric sci-fi/rom-com existentialism, featuring a fearlessly funny and heartfelt performance by the great Mia Danelle as ‘Sound’.
THAT ALIEN SOUND writer/director Brando Topp will be in-attendance at MSFFF’s International Premiere and will be present for a post-screening Q&A with festival director Simon Foster.
The session also includes the Australian Premiere of Melbourne filmmaker Joe Winkler’s TORC, which follows a young woman who in an effort to make rent, takes a job at an experimental mental health clinic.
