Opelousas: Live at RRR
Join us this Wednesday 19 June at 6pm for a stomping set by Opelousas, hosted by Kate Kingsmill of The Distant Sky.
Melbourne’s swamp-blues powerhouse, Opelousas, will bring their latest album Opelousafried to life.
A recent Triple R Album of the week, it features the talents of supreme local musicians Kerri Simpson, Alison Ferrier, and Anthony “Shorty” Shortte.
There’s New Orleans soul influences, and tender rock ballads, as the band explore themes of passion, paranoia, and betrayal.
