The competition commences on Monday 12th August 2024 at 5.30am (AEST) and concludes on Thursday 15th August 2024 at 12.00pm (AEST).In order to enter, viewers must:
(a) Visit the Sunrise website and register their full name, address (including state and postcode), email address, date of birth, and mobile phone number on the Competition page and
(b) Submit an answer to the competition question, tell us in 25 words or less, “who will you be voting for the Gold Logie and why?” and;

Entries must be received by Thursday 15th August 2024 at 12.00pm (AEST).
Entrants may only enter, once per person per day, throughout the competition period.The entry must be:

(b) written in English; and
(c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by
other parties.
Upon submission, an entry will remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The prize winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use their entries in all media worldwide and the prize winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

4.2 Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or traded for an alternative prize, including cash.
4.3 To clarify, The Prize does not include interstate travel if a prize winner resides outside of Sydney.
4.4 The Prize must be completed on the dates specified in clause 4.1, arriving at The Star Grand Sydney Hotel on Sunday 18 August 2024. The Prize is based on two (2) people sharing a twin/double room in accommodation.
4.5 Prize inclusions and details are correct as of 23 July 2024, however subject to change without advance notice.
4.6 Unless specified, the Prize Winners and their companion are responsible for all other expenses incurred including but not limited to taxes, transport, accommodation, meals, beverages, interstate travel, air tickets, excess baggage, and items of a personal nature are the sole responsibility of the entrant.
4.7 The Prize Winners and their companion may extend their stay at an additional cost and subject to availability. The Promoter is not liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of extending the travel.
4.8 The $250 Dinner for two (2) is single use and only redeemable on 18 August 2024 at either BLACK Bar & Grill, Sokyo or Cucina Porto at The Star Sydney, subject to availability.
4.9 Any specified accommodation, restaurants, events and tours are subject to availability at the time of booking. Alternatives may be offered dependent on availability. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal or greater value.
4.10 The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any fees incurred as a result of any changes made and these costs will be borne by the Prize Winners and their companion.
4.11 The Prize Winners may be required to provide a credit card in order to check-in at the accommodation for a security deposit, and to cover any incidental charges.
4.12 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the Winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements, including The Star Grand Hotel’s standard hotel terms and conditions.
4.13 The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies or any organization or individual associated with the provision of the Prize(s) make no representation as to the safety conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
4.14 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance or redemption of the prize, or this Competition. Independent financial advice should be sought by the Winner prior to accepting the Prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
4.15 In the event that an element of the Prize outlined in Clause 4.1 above is, for any reason, cancelled, postponed or not available, that element(s) of the Prize will be considered as forfeited and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the Prize. If, for any reason whatsoever, a Winner does not take an element of their Prize within the time period stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the Winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize.
4.16 Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses related to the Prizes become the responsibility of the Winners. All costs associated with the Prize which are not expressly stated in these terms and conditions to be included, including but not limited to additional cost for food, beverage and transportation.
4.17 In participating in Competition, the prize winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The prize winners grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the prize winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.18 The prize winners agree that they will not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or photographs to any media or other organization.
4.19 The Prize Winners must provide valid identification to the Promoter upon the Promoter’s request. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the Prize at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
4.20 Subject to state permit authority restrictions, the Promoter may reasonably amend these terms and conditions, orally or in writing, in its absolute discretion.
5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will Five (5) Winners in total throughout the Competition Period. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the Winners.
5.2 The Five (5) Prize Winners will be judged from all valid entries received (online) during the Competition Period on Thursday 15th August 2024 at 12.30pm (AEST) at Seven Network, 8 Central Avenue Eveleigh NSW 2015 Australia.
5.3 All prize winners will be the best valid entries as judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter who are deemed the worthiest.
5.4 The Promoter will confirm an entrant is eligible to win the Prize prior to announcing the Prize Winners. The Promoter will share entry details of selected entries with The Star Pty Limited for the purpose of confirming eligibility in accordance with clause 2.5.
5.5 The prize winners will be contacted by telephone or email the same day as winner judging. All prize winner’s details (first name initial, last name and postcode) will be published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of judging. The Promoter reserves the right to re- judge in the event of a winner not claiming a Prize by 16:00 AEST Friday 16th August 2024. The alternative winner, if any, will be notified in writing and by phone on the day of the re-judging and their name published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of re-judging.
5.6 Winners may be announced during the live Sunrise broadcast between 5:30am AEST and 9:00 AEST on Friday 16th August 2024.
5.7 The judges’ decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.8 Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5.9 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prize winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize requirements. Prizes are subject to the Prize Suppliers Terms and Conditions.
5.10 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prize winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in their absolute discretion.
5.11 After a Prize Winner claims the Prize in accordance with clause 5.5 above, the Promoter will supply The Star Pty Limited the contact details of the Prize Winner for the purpose of booking the accommodation and dinner component of the Prize.
