In September, Sydney Dance Company presents Twofold at Roslyn Packer Theatre. This monumental double bill features the return of Rafael Bonachela’s beloved Impermanence alongside a world premiere Love Lock by renowned choreographer Melanie Lane.
Be moved by the juxtaposition of beauty and devastation in Bonachela’s “hypnotically beautiful work” (Limelight), before re-imagining the future folk dance as Lane celebrates the binding act of dance to move, warn and empower us. With a powerhouse line-up up of collaborators, including Bryce Dessner, The Australian String Quartet, Clark and Akira Isogawa, this season is not to be missed!
