The Promoter is Publicis Red Lion Pty Limited Trading as Publicis Personalised Plates ABN 12 098 273 539 of Level 2, 99 Melbourne St, South Brisbane QLD 4101 (also referred to as “PPQ”).
2. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Entry is only open to residents of Queensland, aged 18 years or over with a valid Queensland CRN (driver's license number).
4. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or Matt Stone Racing, and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
5. Competition commences at 9:00AM AEST on 25/10/2024 and ends at 11:59PM AEST on 27/10/2024 (total "Competition Period").
6. To enter competition, individuals must complete the following steps during the Competition Period:
either: (i) scan the QR code on materials at the TEAM PPQ stand at the Fanzone area of the Supercars GC 500 event on 25-27th October 2024; or (ii) scan the QR code on human billboards or A6 flyers given out by human billboard staff wandering the Supercars GC500 event precinct; or (iii) visit
www.ppq.com.au/GC500, and follow the prompts to the competition entry page;.
input all mandatory details (including first name, last name, valid email address, phone number, Personalised Plates ownership question) and agree to terms and conditions and privacy policy, and opt in to receive PPQ marketing materials; and
submit the fully completed entry form.
7. In this competition, there is one (1) MAJOR PRIZE, one (1) SECOND PRIZE and one (1) THIRD PRIZE.
8. The first valid entry drawn will win the MAJOR PRIZE, total value $2,875.00, consists of the following:
Hot lap experience with Matt Stone Racing ride day at Queensland Raceway, Willowbank QLD 4306 for two (2) people on 26th November 2024 (one hot lap each person). Time to be confirmed. Value $1,600. Winner is responsible for all costs associated with attending, such as transport, accommodation etc.
One PPQ Gift Voucher valued at $1,195.
Two (2) TEAM PPQ caps valued at $40.00 each.
9. The second valid entry drawn will win the SECOND PRIZE, total value $815.00, consists of the following:
One (1) PPQ Gift Voucher valued at $775.
One (1) TEAM PPQ cap valued at $40.00.
10. The third valid entry drawn will win the THIRD PRIZE, total value $535.00, consists of the following:
One (1) PPQ Gift Voucher valued at $495.
One (1) TEAM PPQ cap valued at $40.00.
11. This is a game of chance, skill plays no part in determining the winner.
12. Prize winners will be drawn at Personalised Plates Queensland, Level 2, 99 Melbourne Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101 on Monday 28/10/2024 at 3.00PM AEST and will be notified by mobile phone on the number provided at entry between 3.00PM and 3.30PM AEST on the same date. If any of the three (3) prizes is not claimed by responding to the phone call or the entry is deemed as invalid by 8.45AM AEST on the 12 /11/2024, subsequent prize winners will be drawn and notified between 9.00AM and 9.30AM AEST on 13/11/2024 at the same place as the original draw.
13. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person. For the avoidance of doubt, an individual entrant can only use one email address at any given time. Multiple email addresses and duplicate entries per individual entrant will not be accepted and the entrant will be excluded from the participation in the competition. Each entry must have a unique first name, last name, email address, and phone number.
14. If the major prize winner decides they cannot attend their hotlap experience, after they accept the prize, they must advise PPQ as soon as possible.
15. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
16. All winners are responsible for all ancillary costs not outlined in these terms and conditions as a result of redeeming all Prize elements and/ or travel costs, travel insurance and accommodation costs.
17. PPQ and the Prize supplier (Matt Stone Racing) reserves the right to determine, in their absolute discretion, the timing and length of any experiences forming part of a Prize.
18. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize (or an element of the prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
19. The Personalised Plates Queensland gift voucher as part of the major prize must be used for redemption of a set of Personalised Plates. The personalised plate combination content selected by the winner (i.e. numbers and letters combined) ("Content"), is subject to availability and approval by the PPQ. If no option for the final Content can be agreed on between the PPQ and winner, PPQ will make the final determination as to the Content, and no correspondence will be entered into. Notwithstanding the above, the Personalised Plate content must not be deemed by PPQ to be inappropriate as per the clause below (Obscene and inappropriate content). Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Personalised Plates Queensland gift voucher are not included. Any unused balance of the Personalised Plates Queensland gift voucher will not be awarded as cash. 20. Plate combination cannot be deemed inappropriate. Obscene and inappropriate content includes:
Obscene or indecent combinations or captions.
Plates that are contrary to the public interest.
Plates likely to cause offence to a reasonable person.
Plates that may infringe a third party’s rights (including intellectual property rights) or constitute false or misleading representation or conduct (such as implying or falsely representing a connection with any third-party business).
Plates promoting unsafe, violent or harmful behaviour, particularly on the roads, and Plates referencing weapons.
Plates promoting illegal drugs or criminal activity.
Plates that are propagandistic, discriminatory, or could offend a reasonable person or members or citizens of a distinct culture or a particular religion, nation, race, or minority status.
Plates that could be considered offensive to Government Departments.
Plates including content that may be defamatory, in breach of any laws, regulations, rules, codes or otherwise objectionable in the absolute discretion of PPQ.
Plates that create ambiguity in identification of a vehicle or enable mistaken recognition of a vehicle and/or its occupants.
21. If a prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
22. It is a condition of accepting a Prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and Prize supplier’s requirements including Matt Stone Racing Ride Day Terms and Conditions and 2024 Conditions of Entry to Supercars Events. Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the Prize as stated. The hotlap experience is subject to the experience terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject the winner (and/or their companion/s) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.
23. The winner of the MAJOR PRIZE and their companion acknowledge that the hotlap experience (“Activity”) is a dangerous activity that may result in injury or death, and participate at their own risk. The winner and their companion must: (a) attend, undergo and pass any appropriate training, briefings, required medical tests and other requirements of the Promoter and Activity organisers as determined by them in their absolute discretion; (b) not have any heart condition or history thereof, or other medical conditions that would make it dangerous to participate in the Activity; (c) not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol; (d) comply with all directions of the Promoter and Activity organisers at all times; and (e) wear all safety and other equipment required. The Promoter and Activity organisers, in their absolute discretion, at all times reserve the right to: (a) prevent the winner or their companion from participating in the Activity if, at any time, they reasonably believe that the winner or their companion pose a safety risk or for any other reason; and/or (b) cancel the Activity if the conditions are deemed dangerous. If the Activity is varied for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter it may not be rescheduled and no compensation will be offered.
24. Total Prize pool value is $4,225.
25. Entrants must only enter in their own name. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the competition. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
26. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
27. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
28. Entrants consent to PPQ using their name, likeness, image, video, plate story and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by PPQ.
29. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, government lockdown, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster or unforeseeable event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
30. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
31. If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
32. Any cost associated with accessing the competition website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
33. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia ("Non-Excludable Guarantees"). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition.
34. As a condition of entering this competition, each entrant licenses and grants the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display their entry (which shall include Content) for any purpose, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability.
35. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control);
Any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
Any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
Any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
If the GC 500 Supercars event or the Hot lap experience with Matt Stone Racing is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
Any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
Faking and/or use of a prize.
36. The entrant agrees not to bring any claim or proceeding against PPQ (including its officers, employees, agents and Prize suppliers) for any damage, loss, injury or liability they may suffer in participating in this competition or otherwise connected with accepting and performing the Prize.
37. As a condition of accepting a Prize, the winner may be required to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by PPQ and/or Prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form or liability waiver.
38. PPQ requires your personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the Ccompetition and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and Prize suppliers, and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. PPQ will use and handle PI as set out in our Privacy Policy (

In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may make a complain about a breach of applicable privacy legislation and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Unless otherwise indicated by the Promoter, the Promoter may disclose PI to entities outside of Australia (for a list of the countries, see the Promoter’s Privacy Policy). By entering the competition, entrants consent to the overseas transfer on these terms as permitted under applicable privacy legislation and agree that the Promoter is not liable in this regard.
