World Science Festival Brisbane is back to celebrate its tenth anniversary from March 21–30, 2025, with an exciting array of events designed to captivate minds of all ages. Among the festival’s highlights is Leigh Sales AM & Annabel Crabb: An Afternoon of Science, where the popular duo will engage with renowned scientists to explore the wonders of the universe in a lively and inspiring discussion. Another must-see is Science Smackdown: The Ultimate Debate, hosted by Natasha Mitchell, where brilliant thinkers will spar over contentious topics with humour and wit, leaving the audience to crown the ultimate champion.
The Weekend Edition has partnered with our friends at World Science Festival Brisbane to give one lucky first prize winner the ultimate staycation. The prize includes:
• Four tickets to Leigh Sales AM and Annabel Crabb: An Afternoon of Science on March 29 at 4:30 pm
• Four tickets to Science Smackdown: The Ultimate Debate on March 29 at 8:00 pm
• Two nights’ accommodation for four people at Mantra South Bank on March 29-30, including a la carte breakfast
Runner-up winners will each receive a double pass to Science Smackdown: The Ultimate Debate. The total prize pool is valued at $1920.
