Lou Wells (Rebecca Breeds - Clarice, Home And Away) has hit rock bottom after a promising start to her Hollywood career. Now broke and aimless, she reluctantly accepts a plane ticket from her estranged father, Rory (Erik Thomson - How To Please A Woman, Packed to the Rafters) to return home to South Australia’s ruggedly beautiful Kangaroo Island. As years of unresolved tension start to resurface, the reunion turns even more complicated when Lou and her sister Freya (Adelaide Clemens – The Great Gatsby) learn about Rory’s secret.
Kangaroo Island is a beautiful and emotionally charged new Australian drama film. It is the directorial debut of Timothy David and is set on and filmed on the unique and stunning Kangaroo Island, located in South Australia.
