TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. This promotion is called “2nd Half First Goal Scorer” Game Day Activation (Competition).
2. The promoter of this is the Gold Coast Football Club Limited ABN 144 555 822 (Promoter), of Austworld Centre, Level 1, 296 Nerang Broadbeach Rd, Carrara QLD 4211. People First Bank, a trading name of Heritage and People’s Choice Ltd ABN 11 087 651 125 of 50 Flinders Street, Adelaide SA 5000 (People First Bank) is sponsoring the Competition and supplying the associated prize
3. By entering this Competition, each person (Entrant, you) agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions. The Competition is governed exclusively by the laws of Australia.
4. The Competition is a game of skill and game of chance and Entrant’s will abide by the rules and requirements of the Competition.
5. The Competition will commence at 10:00am on June 28, 2025 and closes at 10:00pm on 5 September, 2025 (Competition Period).
Eligibility
6. The Competition is only open to individuals who
a. are Australian residents;
b. are aged 18 years or over;
c. who attend a Gold Coast SUNS home match in the 2025 season during the Competition Period
d. are not employees (and their spouse, ex-spouse child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent) of the Promoter, of People First Bank, participating outlets and the agencies associated with this Competition.

Entry
7. To enter, an Eligible Entrant must scan a QR code presented on the big screen before the end of half-time during Gold Coast SUNS home matches in the 2025 Toyota AFL Season during the Competition Period that will lead them to a landing page to:
a. answer the question posed; and
b. complete all the required fields; and
c. submit their entries before the end of half time of that particular game, (together the Entry Process).
8. Eligible Entrants who complete the Entry Process and answer the question posed correctly (Correct Entrants) will then receive entry to the draw to be selected randomly to determine who the Prize Winner (see clause 12) is.
9. Entry into the Competition is free for an Eligible Entrant.
10. All Correct Entrants have an equal chance of winning the Prize.
Prize
11. There will only be one (1) major prize drawn in this Competition and only one (1) major prize winner in this Competition.
12. The first valid entry drawn by an electronic random number generator at the Austworld Centre, Level 1, 296 Nerang Broadbeach Rd, Carrara QLD 4211 by 5:00pm on Friday September 5, 2025 (Draw) will win the prize (Prize Winner).
13. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for another Prize, except at People First Bank’s discretion and subject to relevant State/Territory legislation. A Prize Winner is not entitled to any difference between the value of the Prize (at the time the Prize is awarded) and the recommended retail price (if any). If any Prize (or part of any Prize) is unavailable, People First Bank, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a Prize to the equal value and/or specification subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Physical cash will not be awarded as a substitute. A Prize Winner acknowledges that tax implications may arise from the Prize and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of the Prize.
14. The Prize, a Gold Coast SUNS Ultimate Match Day Experience, consists of:
a. 4 x reserved seat tickets in The Virgin Lounge at a selected 2026 match at People First Stadium.
b. 1 x $150 merch voucher.
c. 1 x Gold Coast SUNS signed guernsey.
d. 1 x $500 Anystore Eftpos gift card.
collectively, the Prize value is $1750.
15. The Promoter will notify the Prize Winner that they have won the Prize via email or phone within two (2) business days after the Draw via the Prize Winner’s email address retained from the completed entry form. When notified, the Promotor will outline how the Prize is to be received.
16. The Prize Winner’s details, including initial of their first name, last name and their postcode, will also be published on the Promoter’s website [Official AFL Website of the Gold Coast SUNS (goldcoastfc.com.au)] by 5:00pm on Friday September 12, 2025 for a minimum period of 28 days.
17. The Prize must be claimed by the Prize Winner within seven (7) days of the Prize Winner being notified. The Prize Winner claims the Prize by replying via email or phone.
18. If the Prize has not been claimed by the Prize Winer within the seven (7) day period, the Promotor will redraw a new Prize Winner (Redraw). The Redraw will be conducted in the same manner as the Draw, before 5:00pm on 12 September 2025. The Redraw Prize Winner will be contacted in the same manner as the Draw Prize Winner.
19. Details of any Redraw Prize Winner will be published in the same manner as the Draw Prize Winner, the following business day after the Redraw, for a minimum period of 28 days.
General
20. People First Bank or the Promoter may request the Prize Winner (and/or the Redraw Prize Winner) to provide proof of identity and their residency when claiming the Prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of People First Bank.
21. By accepting the Prize, the Prize Winner agrees to participate in the Competition’s marketing and advertising activities relating to the Competition (such as publicity), including their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in promotional material in any form of media at any time without notification or compensation, financial or otherwise.
22. In consideration for awarding a Prize to a winner, winners agree to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the Prize and consent to their name and image being used in promotional material without payment.
23. Where you consent to your information being shared with People First Bank, Heritage and People’s Choice Limited ABN 11 087 651 125 (HPC) trading as People First Bank deals with your personal information collected via this Promotion in accordance with the Heritage Bank Privacy Policy (the Privacy Policy) in the same way as HPC trading as Heritage Bank. Any reference in the Privacy Policy to HPC means HPC trading as Heritage Bank and/or People’s Choice Credit Union and/or People First Bank (as the case may be). HPC trading as People First Bank collects personal information from you and from third parties. Unless you ask us not to, we may also use your information for keeping you informed about products and services issued or distributed by HPC under its brands or its third party partners. If a person does not provide their personal information, they can not participate in this competition. We may disclose your personal information across all HPC brands and to other organisations including HPC’s external service providers and partners. We currently share limited personal information with organisations that are located in the Philippines, India, Ireland, the United Kingdom, China, countries within the European Union, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, the United States of America, and such other countries we may disclose to you from time to time. 24. By entering this Promotion, and ticking the applicable box on the entry form, each entrant consents to the HPC contacting them. If an entrant does not wish to be contacted, they must not tick the box that indicates their consent. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter and the People First Bank (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or death; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition or accepting or using the prize.
26. The Promotor has no control over telecommunications networks and accepts no responsibility for problems associated with them. Entries deemed received at the time of receipt into Promotor’s database, not at the time of transmission. Entries submitted using any form of automated entry device or software are ineligible. Entries not fully complying with these Conditions of Entry will be deemed invalid. The Promotor accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, tampering, theft, destruction failure or otherwise. No correspondence will be entered into.
27. If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition is affected for any reason, the Promotor may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, change or suspend the competition. Promotor may disqualify any individual who tampers (or benefits from the tampering) with the entry process or the conduct of the competition or who has, in Promotor’s opinion, engaged in conduct which is fraudulent, misleading or generally damaging to the reputation of Promotor or has breached these Conditions of Entry.
28. Promotor will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with entering the competition or using the Prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
29. All personal information you provide will be used by the Promotor in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at
http://www.goldcoastfc.com.au/privacy and may be disclosed by the Promotor in accordance with the Promotor’s Privacy Policy (including for promotional and marketing purposes). By providing your personal information, you agree to such use by the Promotor.
