By entering the Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale x Sunrise Cruise Giveaway (“Competition”), you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia, aged 18 years of age or older, where the Channel Seven (and affiliates) signal is received (“Entrant”).
2.2 Employees and their Immediate Family Members of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited (“Promoter”), Universal Pictures International Australasia Pty Ltd (“Sponsor”), Viking River Cruises Australia Pty Ltd (“the Prize Supplier”), Ansible Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
2.3 In clause 2.2 “Immediate Family Members” includes a spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling.
2.4 To be eligible to enter, Entrants must also be able to participate in the Prize on the dates stipulated (as defined in clause 4.2).
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Friday, 29th August 2025 at 5:30am AEST and concludes on
Thursday, 4th September 2025 at 12:00pm AEST (“Competition Period”).
3.2 COMPETITION ENTRY: To enter, during the competition period Entrants must:
• visit the designated Competition page on the Sunrise website (
www.sunrise.com.au) and register their full name, postcode, a valid email address, date of birth and telephone number; and
• submit an answer to the competition question, “Share your favourite Downton Abbey moment in 25 words or less. Be creative—what scene or character defines the heart of the show for you?"; and
• Check the tickbox to confirm they are able to take part in the Prize on the stipulated dates; and
• Check the tickbox to confirm they are available for a Facetime call on Friday, 5th September
between 5:30am and 9:00am AEST if they are deemed the winner.
3.3 Entries must be received by Thursday, 4th September 2025 at 12:00pm AEST.
3.4 Entrants can enter as many times as they like during the competition period.
3.5 The entry must be:
(a) the original independent creation of the Entrant;
(b) written in English; and
(c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by other
parties.
3.6 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the Entrant.
3.7 Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive or
inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.8 Neither the Promoter, Sponsor, Ansible Pty Ltd nor any Prize supplier are responsible for any data or other information related to this competition that may be lost or damaged as a result of any computer software or hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/ software problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
3.9 Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the entry will be deemed invalid.
4. PRIZES
4.1 The total prize pool value is up to AU $43,388.00 AUD (incl GST).
4.2 There is one (1) prize to be awarded. The winner will win:
a) Return flights for two (2) people from the winners’ nearest capital city airport, arriving into Bergen on 14 September 2026 and departing London on 4 October 2026. Flights are valued at up to $7,600 total.
b) One (1) x Viking “British Isles Explorer” cruise for two (2) people, departing Bergen on 15 September 2026 for 15 days and 14 nights. The cruise is valued at AU$28,790 per couple (AU$14,395 per person x 2). The cruise includes:
• 15-day cruise in a Veranda (Category V1) Stateroom
• 12 Guided Tours
• 6 countries
• All onboard meals
• Beer & wine with lunch and dinner
• Visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites

c) One (1) x Viking post cruise extension “Great Homes, Gardens & Gin” for two people, departing London on 29 September 2026 for 4 nights. The extension is valued at AU$6,998 per couple (AU$3,499 per person x 2). The post cruise extension includes:
• 4 hotel nights in Oxford (or similar).
• 7 meals: 4 breakfasts (B) & 3 lunches (L)
• 4 guided tours: Oxford; Highclere Castle & Bombay Sapphire Distillery; Broughton Castle;
Chavenage House & Highgrove Gardens
• Fully escorted by your Viking Tour Director
• All transfers
• Highgrove Gardens visit is subject to availability. Alternatively, Buscot Park will be visited
4.3 For clarity, the Winner will win both elements a), b) and c) listed in clause 4.2.
4.4 The Winner and their travel companion must be able to complete the Prize departing their closest
capital city on 15 September 2026 and returning from London on 3 October 2026. Dates of flights may vary slightly depending on airfares as dictated by the Sponsor and/or the Prize Supplier. Dates will be agreed with the Winner prior to booking.
4.5 Prize Terms & Conditions apply. The Cruise and Extension Prize is subject to availability. Any changes or costs incurred once the tickets have been issued, will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
4.6 The Winner and their travel companion must be aged 18 years or older. The Prize is based on 2 people travelling together and sharing a stateroom.
4.7 All elements are subject to availability at time of booking. Itineraries are not guaranteed and onboard offerings are subject to change.
4.8 The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. If for any reason the winner is unable to accept the prize as stated, the winner will forfeit the prize and no compensation will be given in lieu.
4.9 All elements of the Prize must be taken together. Travel restrictions may apply. The winner and their travel companion must travel together.
4.10 Any meals or tips which are not included in the Prize including but not limited to, transfer fees, Passports, Visas, telephone charges, laundry, additional nights or upgrades, any other personal expenses, travel insurance, and airport transfers are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companion.
4.11 Travel or entry documentation (Visas) and arrival fees are the responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion. It is the Winner’s responsibility to check with all government travel advisory and immigration authorities regarding travel requirements and eligibility. Any fines, penalties, payments, and expenditures incurred because of not meeting such requirements will be the sole responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion.

4.12 Any mandatory conditions related to taking the prize including COVID-19 vaccinations for any travel outside of Australia, are the responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion. If the Winner or their travel companion have not complied at the time of travel, boarding may be denied, and the prize duly forfeited. This includes any third-party vaccination requirements from any travel operator required to take the prize. If travel and quarantine restrictions imposed by the Australian or International Governments impact the Winner’s ability to take the prize as stated, Viking will make every effort to defer the departure date to a date of their choosing.
4.13 The extension “Great Homes, Gardens & Gin” for two people, departing London on 29 September 2026 can only be taken in conjunction with the Viking “British Isles Explorer” cruise for two people, leaving Bergen on 15 September 2026.
4.14 If applicable, a valid passport is required for all international journeys with at least 6 months of validity from the date of return.
4.15 If applicable, names as per passport and dates of birth for all travellers are required at the time of reservation.
4.16 A valid credit card may be required to be presented at cruise check in for incidentals. Tickets are non- transferable (i.e. no name changes allowed). Once tickets are issued, they are non-transferable. Any alterations to confirmed flights and/or accommodation details will be at the expense of the winner. All components of the Prize must be fulfilled at the same time, and they cannot be split across different time periods. Any changes by the winner made to the specified prize package (including travel extensions, additional guests, etc) will be subject to an administration fee which must be settled in full prior to booking confirmation.
4.17 Once the Prize has been arranged, any changes to the travel, flights, accommodation or scheduling arrangements are at the expense of the Winner and their travelling companions.
4.18 Flights are economy class and may be indirect. The selected airline’s Conditions of Carriage apply to all flights. The Winner and travelling companion must travel at the same time and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest Capital City Airport in Australia. Airline, flight route and dates of travel are subject to the promoter and sponsor’s absolute and final decision. Flights are valued at up to $7,600 total. The Sponsor and/or Prize Supplier reserve the right to cap the airfare at this price, and the Winner must pay any difference above this amount.
4.19 Winner and guest travel at their own risk and, if for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
4.20 Winner must obtain their own travel insurance and proof of insurance may be required to be provided before tickets are issued.
4.21 Neither the Promoter, Sponsor nor any Prize supplier accepts responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance or redemption of the Prize, or this Competition. Independent financial advice should be sought by the Winner prior to accepting the Prize. Neither the Promoter, the Sponsor nor any Prize supplier accept responsibility for any variation in Prize value.
4.22 The Winner must provide valid identification to the Promoter upon the Promoter’s request. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the Prize at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
4.23 Subject to state permit authority restrictions, the Promoter may reasonably amend these terms and conditions, orally or in writing, in its absolute discretion.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 This competition is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the Winner.
5.2 Each entrant who has entered the Competition during the Competition Period and registered all
details in accordance with clause 3 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the Competition.
5.3 The Prize Winner will be the best valid entry as judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the
Promoter who is deemed the worthiest, at Seven Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh
NSW 2015 on Thursday, 4th September 2025 from 12:00pm AEST.
5.4 The Winner may be announced during the live Sunrise broadcast between 5:30am AEST and 9:00am
AEST on Friday, 5th September 2025.
5.5 The Winner will be contacted via email and phone call by the Promoter to accept their Prize and
organise Prize fulfillment within two (2) business days of the Judging. The Winner will be published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of the Judging.

5.6 The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.7 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequent to a Winner being notified or a Winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the Winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions. In such circumstances, except where the Promotor has selected additional reserve entries as set out above, an additional judging will be conducted.
5.8 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.9 The Winner must claim their Prize by midday AEDT on Thursday 4th December 2025. If the Prize is not claimed by that time, an unclaimed Prize judging will take place Seven Network, 8 Central Avenue Eveleigh NSW 2015 Australia on Thursday 4th December 2025 at 12:15pm AEDT.
5.10 The unclaimed Prize winner, if any, will be notified by email and phone call within two (2) business days of the unclaimed Prize judging. The unclaimed Prize Winner must claim their prize within 48 hours of being notified. If unclaimed Prize Winner fails to do so, the prize will be forfeited. The unclaimed Prize winner’s details will be published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of the unclaimed Prize judging.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, COVID 19, pandemic, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to applicable law.
6.2 The Promoter, the Sponsor, and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for Prizes lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 The Promoter, the Sponsor and their associated agencies and companies (including any Prize supplier) will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) during the judging;
b) in the acceptance, participation or use of any element(s) of the Prize;
c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any
material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other
Entrants or any other person; or
e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines
or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this Competition.
6.4 The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies assumes no responsibility for any error,
omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to applicable law.
6.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to applicable law.
