STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
WHO CAN ENTER
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2 and 9.1, entry is open to Australian and New Zealand, 18+ years of age residents only.
2.2. Employees, franchisees, and their immediate families of We Are Explorers and Sheldon & Hammond or any related agencies, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, or step-sister.
HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on 01/12/25 at 10:00 AM AEST and closes 01/01/26 at 11:59 PM AEST (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, the entrants must complete the entry form on the Competition landing page by providing the entrant’s full name, email address, and State.
3.3 In order to enter, the Entrants must agree to receive email marketing communications from the Promoter and Competition Partner (who is; Sheldon & Hammond). Entrants may unsubscribe to email marketing from the Promoter and Competition Partners at any time after receipt of the first promotional email from the Promoter.
3.4 Entrants may only enter once.
3.5 By entering the Competition, each Entrant consents to and grants a royalty free perpetual licence to the Promoter and the Competition Partners to use the winning Entrant’s name, in accordance with clause 5.4 below.
PRIZES AND UNCLAIMED PRIZES
4.1 The winners will be chosen at random with a third party draw service.
4.2 The winners will be notified by email.
4.2 Prizes cannot be exchanged or refunded in any way by the winner.
4.3 Prizes are valid for redemption until 05/02/2026.
4.4 Any prizes that remain unclaimed for 1 month after the end of the Competition Period will be awarded to another Entrant as determined by the Promoter. If required, this will occur on 06/02/2026.
4.6 The voucher must be used in a single transaction. Any unused balance will be forfeited. If the winner spends more than the voucher value, the winner must pay the outstanding amount.
4.7 Where the winner is required to pay an outstanding amount and that amount is less than the free-shipping threshold of $99, standard shipping fees will apply. If the outstanding amount is $99 or more, free shipping will apply. For example: if the winner spends $1,050, they must pay the $50 difference and shipping will be charged; if they spend $1,101, they must pay the $101 difference and shipping will not be charged.
SELECTION OF PRIZE WINNERS
5.1 Each Entrant who has entered the Competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 will be entered into the prize pool.
5.2 The winner will be selected through a third party draw service on the 05/01/2026 at 11:00AM AEST at the Promoter’ Premises.
5.3 The winner of the Competition, as determined by the Promoter, agrees to provide proof of age to We Are Explorers and any Competition Partners if deemed necessary by the Promoter.
5.4 The winner will be notified by email and will be announced on the Promoter’s social media platforms on 05/01/2026.
5.5 The Promoter’s decision is final.
NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition or other as subject to any State Legislation.
6.2 The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies, and the Competitions Partners, will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail or email.
6.3 The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies, and the Competition Partners will not be liable to the Entrants or winners for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
6.3.1 during the draw;
6.3.2 whilst undertaking any travel won in connection with their entry into the Competition;
6.3.3 in the participation in any prize;
6.3.4 as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail or email;
6.3.5 due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person; or
6.3.6 due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s, or any Competition Partners’ reasonable control.
6.4 The Promoter, its affiliates, and the Competition Partners, assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.
6.5 If, for any reason, this Competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserve the right, at their discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or any other dishonest act, may take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to State Legislation.
