New Releases from Melbourne Books
Enter the competition below for the chance to win one of Melbourne Books’ highly anticipated June releases Fitzroy North: People Place Protest by Dr Judith Buckrich and Melbourne Coffee Roasters: A History by Dominic Pellegrino.
Beginning with the local Aboriginal communities prior to European colonisation, Fitzroy North: People Place Protest reveals the personal lives of early colonists, gold rush era migrants, people displaced by war and conflict, and young revolutionaries in the 60s and 70s. Through economic boom and bust, Buckrich explores the changes to infrastructure, transport, demographics and employment opportunities available to the people of Fitzroy North over a period of 200 years.
Melbourne Coffee Roasters: A History tells the stories of Melbourne’s Post WWII founding roasters – their triumphs, struggles, trials and errors – as told by the roasters themselves. Managers, founders, roasters and staff from iconic brands such as Vittoria, Mocopan, Genovese and others have informed the author’s research, bringing unique perspectives to the history of coffee – particularly Italian-style espresso – in Australia.
Triple R Subscribers can enter the competition below to go in the draw to win either Fitzroy North: People Place Protest OR Melbourne Coffee Roasters: A History. Please advise which book you'd prefer to win when entering.
