Panel | Navigating Emotions Through Art + Drawing Club at ACCA
Join ACCA for an engaging panel discussion exploring the relationship between art and emotion, and how creative practices can help young people to navigate complex and powerful emotional states.
This conversation, facilitated by Lauren Simmonds (ACCA Artist Educator), will bring together diverse perspectives on the role of art in fostering emotional awareness, resilience and connection. Through discussion and shared insights, panellists will consider how creative expression can provide valuable tools for understanding ourselves and others to create greater connection.
This session will be followed by a Drawing Club workshop with a focus on the therapeutic dimension of drawing lead by panel member, and Art Therapy facilitator Mary Utter.
