Congratulations to her, Hope you get to go..... you're lucky she's caught the bug, I've been trying to get mine on to comping too but both very half-hearted about it.  I'm taking them both on the trip to Sydney I won so maybe once they see the benefits up close they'll change their minds.

Congrats to your daughter. Japan is a place whose culture, customs and ethos are completely different to our own. If she goes on the bullet train, tell her to look out for the conductor as he bows to the carriage as he arrives and departs  If she's one that loves her meat, tell her to eat up big before she goes, as meat comes in small portions and is very expensive   
I'd go back in a heartbeat, any room in her suitcase

She's a picky vegetarian so meat's not the issue... more like can she survive on just rice for a week?!!
Not sure that she has time for the bullet train either... it sounds something like "The Amazing Race"/Big Brother Friday night games for the contestants and she's won a filming/reporting/Facebooking role. Finally FB pays off! (Hoping SHE'S not in with the electric eels, etc!) 

I'll post anything pics that go online when she gets back if possible!
