REBUS SERIES FIVE DVD GIVEAWAY

Fremantle Media Enterprises / Region 4 / Released August 2010

The fabulous Ken Stott is back as world weary Detective Inspector Rebus for another quartet of Edinburgh set murder mysteries and to celebrate we have five copies of the two disc dvd up for grabs!

Stott is John Rebus who finds it difficult not to get personally involved in the murder cases he investigates. The streets of Edinburgh in all their twisty, turny glory are the ideal backdrops for stories which involve Rebus looking into a double murder where one of the victims is the Moderator elect of the Church of Scotland. Other cases include a suspicious death during the preparations for the G8 summit, murder in the art world and in the story Knots and Crosses it is Rebus himself who is under investigation.

Always supremely watchable Rebus is high quality tec viewing indeed. Also to avoid any confusion you might be interested to know that this "series five" is actually known as series four in other parts of the world especially the UK, in Australia the series has had somewhat of a fractured viewing schedule across series and is known as series 5. Confused? You will be, as they used to say on Soap!

Our competition runs until September 1, 2010. To be in with a chance to win one of the dvds all you have to do is tell us who was the first person to play Rebus on TV? Also don't forget about our rather splendid daily newsletter. If you haven't signed up for this yet then what are you waiting for, a daily hit of all the latest stories, comps, reviews, features and news happening in the world of Memorable TV.

Entries must be sent to competition@memorabletv.com and must be titled "Rebus Series Five". Good Luck!

Five series have been aired; series 1 and 2 starred John Hannah and were made for STV by his own production company, Clerkenwell Films. A new cast featuring Ken Stott as DI Rebus was introduced in the third series (which went into production in 2005, made in-house by STV).
