TRUE CSI: COLD BLOOD - SEASON ONE DVD GIVEAWAY

Fremantle Media Enterprises / Region 4 / Released August 2010

Intriguing Channel 9 show True CSI: Cold Blood has its first season released on DVD this month and thanks to the lovely folk over at Fremantle Media Enterprises we have five copies of the three disc dvd set to give away!

The series follows ten incredible murder investigations, all of which have left the detectives on the cases completely baffled, until an always dramatic forensic breakthrough gives them the evidence they need that is.

No modern murder investigation is complete with a fully fledged CSI unit on board and more often than not they are amongst the prime movers in getting the cases solved. This often heart-racing series follows each case in completely chronological order beginning with the murder scene itself and is definitely a real eye-opener to any one whose only view of the world of forensics is fictionalised world of the CSI franchise.

Our competition runs until September 1, 2010. To be in with a chance to win one of the dvds all you have to do is tell us what the study of Ballistics is? Also don't forget about our rather splendid daily newsletter. If you haven't signed up for this yet then what are you waiting for, a daily hit of all the latest stories, comps, reviews, features and news happening in the world of Memorable TV.

Entries must be sent to competition@memorabletv.com and must be titled "True CSI: Cold Blood". Good Luck!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballistics

Ballistics (gr. βάλλειν ('ba'llein'), "throw") is the science of mechanics that deals with the flight, behavior, and effects of projectiles, especially bullets, gravity bombs, rockets, or the like; the science or art of designing and accelerating projectiles so as to achieve a desired performance.

A ballistic body is a body which is free to move, behave, and be modified in appearance, contour, or texture by ambient conditions, substances, or forces, as by the pressure of gases in a gun, by rifling in a barrel, by gravity, by temperature, or by air particles. A ballistic missile is a missile only guided during the relatively brief initial powered phase of flight and its course is subsequently governed by the laws of classical mechanics.

In the field of forensic science, forensic ballistics is the science of analyzing firearm usage in crimes.
