HOW TO ENTER
1. Each week the Drake Supermarkets catalogue will feature a range of promotional products.
2. To be eligible to enter, individuals must spend $30 or more in one transaction, including one (1) or more of the promotional products listed in the catalogue or highlighted in store with a specially marked shelf talker at any participating Drake Supermarket in South Australia or Queensland by close of business on the last day the current catalogue is on sale (as listed on the catalogue)3. To enter, entrants must then fully complete the entry details as required on their purchase receipt, including their full name, address, phone number, and age and place in the entry box located in a participating Drake Supermarket. Final entries close at close of business or 9pm (local time) (whichever is first to occur) on 05/09/10.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to residents of South Australia and Queensland who are able to travel between 20/06/11 and 03/07/11 to coincide with the 2011 Wimbledon semi-finals event3. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to enter this Promotion.
4. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoters, participating Drake Supermarkets and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: parent, sibling, child or spouse.
5. The Promoters reserve the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoters' discretion. Failure by the Promoters' to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
6. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
7. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per purchase receipt; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
8. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoters reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
9. Promotion commences on 09/08/10. Final entries close at close of business or 9:00pm (local time) (whichever is first to occur) on 05/09/10. The draw will take place at Drake Supermarkets, 159 Henley Beach Road Torrensville SA 5031 on 13/09/10 at 9am. The winner will be notified by mail and telephone and their name will be published in The Australian on 04/10/10.
10. The Promoters' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The first valid entry drawn will win a trip for two (2) people to the 2011 Wimbledon Semi Finals in London, UK valued at up to AU$30,000 depending on point of departure. Prize includes return economy airfares from winner's nearest capital city to London, all airline and airport taxes, return private car transfers from the airport to the accommodation venue, five (5) nights four (4) star twin share accommodation including breakfast daily and the Wimbledon Semi Finals package. As part of the Wimbledon Semi Finals package the winner and his/her companion will receive two (2) days at 2011 Wimbledon with reserved seating on Centre Court for the women's and men's Semi Final, exclusive membership to The Gatsby Club for two (2) days, VIP hospitality including a canape reception, a la carte lunch, traditional Wimbledon afternoon tea, admission to the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, transfers to and from Southfields Underground Station to The Gatsby Club, 1 x complimentary Information Pack and 1 x Official Wimbledon Souvenir Pack.
12. During the entire duration of the prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.
13. Spending money, additional meals, additional taxes, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Prize must be taken to coincide with the 2011 Wimbledon Semi-finals event with flights departing on a date between 20/06/10 and 03/07/10. Exact date of departure will be confirmed with the winner closer to the event date and is subject to booking and flight availability.
14. The winner and his/her companion are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite visas, vaccinations and travel documentation.
15. The winner and his/her companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.
16. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoters in their absolute discretion.
17. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize.
18. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
19. Winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in.
20. Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason the winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
21. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoters reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
22. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not redeem the prize or an element of the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoters, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
23. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoters, in their discretion, reserve the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
24. Total prize pool is valued at up to AU$30,000.
25. The prize or any unused portion of the prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
26. A draw for the prize, if unclaimed may take place on 13/12/10 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winner's name will be published in The Australian on 27/12/10.
27. Entrants consent to the Promoters using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters.
28. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters, the Promoters reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
29. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoters (including their officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoters' control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoters) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the 2011 Wimbledon semi-finals event is cancelled or postponed for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters; or (f) participation in/use of the prize.
30. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner and his/her companion must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoters and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
31. The Promoters collect personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoters may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoters. All entries become the property of the Promoters.
