Then Listen Up – Because MTV and LG Want To Launch Your Band Into The Stratosphere!




If you’re currently clawing your way to the top in the notoriously tough music game, then LG Electronics and MTV  are offering up the boost you need. We are giving one lucky unsigned artist a slot that even established music acts would give their lead guitar for – a chance to perform at the LG Live at the 2010 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX ™ event alongside mega-star musical talents! To give you some idea of the company you’ll be keeping, last year’s line up included Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas  and  N.E.R.D – this is world-wide exposure that you just can’t buy!!!!!

But first, you’ll need to impress our LG Unsigned judging panel – which includes Australia’s biggest You Tube phenomenon, the “Fully Sick Rapper” Christiaan Van Vuuren, MTV’s Talent Artist Relations Manager Laura Vozzo, and Dan Hennessy of Aloha Music Management. Christiaan will also be video-documenting the competition and uploading to his hugely popular Facebook page followed by over 25,000 fans.

So how do you start your ride on the golden escalator to fame and fortune? All Aussie acts are invited to submit samples of their rocking performances to www.lgunsigned.com.au by uploading a short bio, photos and an MP3 track by 11:59pm AEST on August 26, 2010.

Once the Top 3 finalists are chosen, it’s up to you to get as many online votes as possible from 6 – 16 September.

The ‘LG Unsigned’ winner will be announced on the September 17, giving them little over a week to perfect their act for their debut on the world stage at the LG Live at the 2010 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX™ concert!

Plus, our Top 3 will win a epic LG Product Pack which includes a 55" (139cm) Full HD LCD TV with Built In HD Tuner, a 1100 Watt Wireless Blu-Ray Home Theatre System, DVD/CD Microsystem and Optimus Mobile Phone.
