In December 2010 Tarkine Trails and Simon Westaway (star of the hit series Underbelly and participant on Celebrity Masterchef) will host an extraordinary ‘Celebrity Chef in the Tarkine’ event. For 6 days, guests will experience the hidden wonders of the Tarkine combined with fresh Tasmanian gourmet delights and the creative cooking talents of Simon Westaway.
Designed for the discerning traveller yearning for unsurpassed wilderness experiences without sacrificing the comforts of home, the Tarkine Explorer itinerary is fully accommodated and vehicle supported. Guests experience the solitude of our privately owned, wilderness standing camps. The itinerary showcases the highlights of the Tarkine, featuring a stunning selection of short and day walks exploring the ancient rainforest and remote coastlines of the region. If you can’t make it on the 7/12/10 or 8/3/11 then check out our regular Tarkine Explorer and you will still see the best that the Tarkine has to offer in comfort.

CELEBRITY CHEF IN THE TARKINE PROMOTION – Terms and conditions
1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Entry is open to all Australian residents, 18 years of age or over, who are current members of either Tarkine Trails Facebook page or our enewsletter.
2. Employees and their immediate families of Tarkine Trails and their related corporations and associated agencies, are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences at 12.01 pm (EST) on 13/8/2010 and entries close at 11.59 pm (EST) on 30/9/2010 (Promotion Period).
4. Participants can enter by visiting

a) register for our newsletter on our website or become a fan of our facebook page;
b) provide an answer to the question “In 25 words or less, tell us why you want to come on the Celebrity Chef in the Tarkine with Simon Westaway?”; and
c) complete and submit the on-line competition form.
5. Entries will be limited to one per person. Maximum of five entries per household.
No responsibility will be taken for any late, ineligible or lost entries. Entries that are not genuine, are incomplete, late, or if the entrant is not a current fan on facebook or our enewsletter for the Promotion Period and on the draw date, will be declared void.
6. This promotion is a game of skill. Valid entries will be judged (by the owners of Tarkine Trails and Simon Westaway) based on, among other things, creativity, originality and humour. The judging will take place between 1/10/10 and 5/10/10 at 148 Davey Street Hobart, TAS, 7000. The winners will be notified by email. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
7. Prizes: 1 x Tarkine Explorer with Simon Westaway for two people travelling together (share twin) Including:

All accommodation on tour.
• All meals including snacks from lunch on day one to lunch on day six.
• All group camping equipment including all first aid and safety gear.

10. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Acceptance of the prize is deemed acceptance by the winner of these Terms and Conditions and approval to use the winner’s name and photograph for publicity purposes.
