Father Of My Children is, whilst not a black and white biographical countdown to his death, it is inspired by the late, great French film producer Humbert Balsan who, over the course of 15 years until 1990 produced 63 films. Winner of the Special Jury Prize and last year’s Cannes Film Festival, it finally opens in cinemas in Australia Thursday 26 August.
