   1. These are the terms and conditions for the voting phase (voting phase) of the “Best dads, Worst Jokes” promotion (Promotion).
   2. Borders Australia Pty Ltd of Level 8, 19 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (promoter).
   3. The voting phase of the promotion commences 9 am (EST) Wednesday 25th August 2010 and runs until 5pm (EST) 2 September 2010 (Promotion Period).
   4. In order to vote in the promotion participants are required to sign in or create an account at borders.com.au.
   5. All participants who vote in the promotion will receive 20% off one full priced book online and in store at Borders. Participants will receive the discount coupon via email on Monday 6th September. Chance plays no part determining who receives the coupon.
   6. The promoter accepts no responsibility for lost or undelivered coupons. If a participant for whatever reason does not receive their coupon. They should contact Borders customer support (http://www.borders.com.au/contact-us)

Voting Terms & Conditions - Wotif.com voucher draw

   1. These are the terms and conditions for the voting phase (voting phase) of the “Best dads, Worst Jokes” promotion (Promotion) relating to the wotif.com accomodation voucher draw.
   2. The Promoter is Wotif.com Pty Ltd ABN 81 092 257 504, 13 Railway Terrace, Milton Qld 4064 (Promoter). The permit numbers for this promotion are NSW permit no. LTPS/10/08351 issued on 25/08/2010 and ACT permit receipt no. CR080155 issued on 26/08/2010.
   3. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
   4. Entry to the competition is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to entrants who are 16 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of Promoter and their related entities are ineligible to enter.
   5. The promotion is open to Australian residents.
  6. To enter the prize draw, participants must visit the promotion website at www.borders.com.au/dadjokes , register a log-in with Borders by providing their; name, email address, and telephone number. Then vote for their favourite video by selecting the ‘like’ button provided.
   7. All valid entries will go into a random draw which will take place at 3.00pm AEST on 3 September 2010 at 13 Railway Terrace, Milton Qld 4064. The first valid entry drawn will win an AU$250 Wotif.com accommodation voucher (Prize Voucher)]. The Prize Voucher can be redeemed in AU$ only.
   8. An unclaimed prize draw will take place at 3.00pm AEST on 3 December 2010 at 13 Railway Terrace, Milton Qld 4064, should any winner of the main draw be uncontactable.
   9. The Prize Voucher is valid until 31 December 2010 and bookings made with the Prize Voucher are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  10. The Prize Voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash.
  11. All Wotif.com Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Prize Voucher.
  12. The maximum total value of the prize pool is approximately AU$250.
  13. The winner will be notified by email or phone within 2 days of the draw. The winner’s details will also be published at www.borders.com for a period of three months.
  14. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit and the Promoter’s decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected or illegible submissions.
  16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
  17. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services.
  18. If this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
  19. In order for you to participate in this promotion the Promoter will collect your name, email address, address, and phone number. The purpose for collecting this personal information is to enable the Promoter to administer the promotion. By entering this promotion you agree to receive Wotif.com’s email newsletters and you agree that the Promoter may use the aggregate information collected from the competition for related research and marketing purposes. Entry Terms & Conditions

   1. These are the terms and conditions for the promotion “Best Dads, Worst Jokes” (Promotion).
   2. Borders Australia Pty Ltd (Borders) is the Promoter of the Promotion.
   3. The Promotion commences 4pm (EST) Friday 6th August 2010 and runs until 5pm (EST) 2 September 2010 (Promotion Period).
   4. The Promotion will be run on Borders YouTube channel, Borders website and Borders Facebook page.
   5. Entry in the Promotion is open to all Australian residents who are 16 years and over, other than:
          * a. management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoters, their related entities and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of prizes);
          * b. a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph 5a of these terms and conditions;
          * c. persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoters, (Eligible Entrants).
          * The Promotion is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winners.

HOW TO ENTER

   1. Eligible Entrants must:
          * a. Create a video featuring dad humour;
          * b. Register for a YouTube account if you don’t already have one and upload the video to YouTube;
          * c. Go to Borders YouTube channel at http://youtube.com/user/bordersaustralia and post their video as a ‘video response to the “Best Dads, Worst Jokes Introduction Video”’;
          * d. The video deemed to be the most creative, entertaining and original by the Promoters will be selected and displayed at http://www.borders.com.au/ on August 23;
          * e. The winning video will be decided by public vote. Voting will take place by clicking the ‘like’ button on the Borders YouTube channel associated with the relevant video. You may ‘like’ more than one video, but a single video can receive only one ‘like’ per user;
          * f. Only registered users of YouTube may ‘like’ a video; and
          * g. consent to the collection and use of their information in accordance with the Promoters’ privacy policies Borders Privacy Policy, Wotif.com’s Privacy Policy and Wotflight’s Privacy Policy).
   2. In the case that two or more videos receive the same number of ‘likes’ the Promoters reserve the right to select the winning entrant based on the selection criteria outlined in section 7.
   3. The winning Eligible Entrant will win the Prize Voucher:
         1. return flights for two adults and two children from any major capital city in Australia to another Australian destination of their choice valued at AU$3,000; and
         2. an AU$2,000 Wotif.com accommodation voucher.
   4. The Prize Voucher:
         1. The Wotif.com accommodation voucher is subject to all Wotif.com Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions;
         2. The Wotif.com voucher will be valid for a period of 6 months from the date of issue and bookings made with the Prize Voucher are subject to availability at the time of booking;
         3. All flights must be redeemed directly with the Wotflight marketing team, details of which will be provided to the winning Eligible Entrant;
         4. Redeemed dollar value of the flights must be the full fare price and not the discounted price.
         5. The Price Voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash.
   5. Cash cannot be contributed towards the balance of the flights. Any unused value of the Prize Voucher will not be redeemed for cash or other form of credit.
   6. All flights for the Prize Voucher must be booked by 5 December 2010.
   7. The maximum total value of the prize pool is approximately AU$5,000.
   8. At the time of submission of an entry in conjunction with this Promotion, each entrant agrees and acknowledges that they:
         1. assign to Borders all existing and future Intellectual Property Rights in all inventions, models, designs, drawings, plans, software, reports, proposals, processes and other materials conceived, created or generated by the entrant in the course of participation in the Promotion; and
         2. acknowledge that by virtue of this clause all such existing rights are vested in Borders and, on their creation, all such future rights will vest in Borders; and
         3. acknowledge that they may have Moral Rights in works which they have created for the purpose of the Promotion (Works);
         4. insofar as the entrant is able, the entrant waives their Moral Rights in respect of the Works;
         5. consent to all or any acts or omissions by Borders, in relation to the Works, which have already occurred or may occur in the future, which may infringe the entrant’s Moral Rights in any of the Works.

      For the purposes of these terms and conditions:

      "Intellectual Property Rights" means all intellectual property rights including without limitation: (a) patents, copyright, rights in circuit layouts, registered designs, trade marks and the right to have confidential information kept confidential; and (b) any application or right to apply for registration of any of those rights.

      "Moral Rights" means the right of integrity of authorship (that is, not to have a work subjected to derogatory treatment), the right of attribution of authorship of a work, and the right not to have authorship of a work falsely attributed, which rights are created by the Copyright Act 1968, and any other moral right capable of protection under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction.
