Win with JVC Mobile Entertainment Competition – Terms & Conditions
1. By entering this competition you accept these conditions of entry and agree to follow the instructions on how to enter.
2. Entry is open to all Australian residents who comply with these conditions of entry.
3. The Promoter is Hagemeyer Brands Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 28 001 375 686) of 104 Vanessa Street, Kingsgrove, NSW, 2208
(“HBA”). The employees of HBA and their immediate family members, its associated companies, advertising agencies, employees
of their associated companies and their agencies associated with this competition, including those from Repco stores are
ineligible to enter this competition or to win the Prize.
4. To enter the competition entrants must complete a “Win with JVC Mobile Entertainment Competition” entry form located in
participating Repco Stores. The entry form is also located online at
www.jvc.com.au where it must be downloaded, completed
and printed. The completed entry forms must be posted with a copy of a valid purchase receipt to: “Win with JVC Mobile
Entertainment Competition”, Hagemeyer Brands Australia Pty Ltd, 104 Vanessa Street, Kingsgrove NSW 2208, Australia.
5. For every purchase of any JVC Mobile Entertainment product/s valued at AU$200 or more, purchased in one transaction from
participating Repco Stores the purchaser shall be entitled to receive one (1) entry into the competition.
6. The competition commences at 9.00 am on 12th August 2010 and ends at 5.00 pm on 5th September 2010. All entries must
be received by HBA by last mail at 5.00 pm on 20th September 2010. Judging of entries will be completed by 5.00 pm on 24th
September 2010. A representative of HBA will judge all valid entries received and determine one entry to have best answered
the question: “Now you’ve purchased a JVC Mobile Entertainment product for your car, tell us in 25 words or less why you would
love a JVC cinema package for your home.” The best answer will be selected based on its originality and literary merit as being
the best answer. The valid entry determined by the judge to be the best answer will be the winner of the Prize (“Prize Winner”).
The representative of HBA will in his/her sole discretion determine the Prize Winner. Chance plays no part in determining the
Prize Winner.
7. There is one (1) Prize to be awarded in this competition, which comprises of one (1) JVC D-ILA projector (Model DLA-HD550B)
and one (1) JVC Home Entertainment System (Model TH-G61) valued in total at AU$6,148.00 (RRP) (“Prize”). Standard 12month
product warranty applies for both products.
8. All entries become the property of HBA. HBA is not responsible for any lost, late, delayed, incorrect or misdirected entries.
Entries must be completed in English and must contain the entrant’s correct name and contact details. Incomplete entries may
be deemed invalid. HBA recommends sending entries by registered post.
9. The Prize Winner’s name will be posted online at
www.jvc.com.au on 24th September, 2010, and also on the JVC Australia
Facebook page and on the JVC Australia Twitter page. The Prize Winner will also be contacted by telephone to be advised of their
Prize before any details are made public, except for the posting of the Prize Winner’s name on the website, facebook and twitter
pages. HBA will attempt to contact the Prize Winner by 5.00 pm on 1st October, 2010. Should HBA be unable to get in contact
with the Prize Winner by 5.00 pm on 1st October, 2010 or should the Prize Winner indicate that he/she does not wish to take the
Prize, then HBA will award the Prize to the valid entry determined to have the next best answer. This Prize Winner’s name will be
posted on the website, JVC Australia Facebook page and JVC Australia Twitter page. HBA will attempt to contact this Prize Winner
by 5.00 pm on 8th October, 2010. Should HBA be unable to get in contact with this Prize Winner by 5.00 pm on 8th October,
2010 or should this Prize Winner indicate that he/she does not wish to take the Prize, then HBA will award the Prize to the valid
entry determined to have the next best answer. HBA will continue this process until the Prize is awarded.
10. HBA’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
