I was starting to think I would not win anything for awhile as had been entering a lot of competitions since start of June.

I just got a phonecall from Mix 101.1 FM telling me that I won the Family Escape Choice Hotels competition! It's for 3 nights accom for 2 adults and 2 kids and $250 spending money! It was a 25 WOL my first winner with one of those as well. The question was  "Tell us about your favourite driving game to play with the family when taking a road trip"

I told them the number plate game where we make funny saying from letters. I used QFG as example...Quickly Float Goats lol

Wow, that's an impressive first win. Well done!


We used to play that game. Well kind of. Ours was a little harder. We had to find one word with the three letters in it, in that order.

Like MTE could be mate, decimate, imitate, or WKR could be awkward, worker or ....... See! It's hard!

Lol, very nice win and great answer!

Our number plate game was a bit simpler than that, we just all blurt out how the plate sounds, so we all end up talking in a kind of Arabic-Swahili and cacking ourselves laughing. laughing6
