Meiji Competition
•1. Purchase and collect either 5 barcodes or 10 barcodes from any pack of
Meiji's biscuit range (Hello Panda and/or Yan Yan) between Monday 30th
August 2010 to Tuesday 30th November 2010.
•2. You are then required to post the barcodes to the JFC Japan Food Corp
(Aust) Pty Ltd office head office, in addition to contact details (name,
address, phone, email). •3. The first 400 to post in 5 barcodes to the JFC Japan Food Corp (Aust) Pty
Ltd office will receive a pack containing a cap, soft toy and a sticker book
(including stickers).
•4. The first 300 to post in 10 barcodes to the JFC Japan Food Corp (Aust) Pty
Ltd office will also receive a $20 Westfield Gift Card, as well as a pack containing a cap, soft toy and a sticker book (including stickers). Please note that there are only 400 packs (cap, soft toy and sticker book) and 300 $20 Westfield Gift Cards. Therefore, the prizes are subject to a first come, first go basis and therefore may run out.
•5. All valid entries will also go into the draw to win one (1) of four (4) Apple IPads.
•6. Entry forms will be put in a barrel and will be selected randomly where there will be four (4) winners who will each receive an Apple IPad.
•7. Prize winners will be randomly selected. The total prize pool is $12,516. Prizes totals include the four (4) Apple 16GB iPad with Wi-Fi at $2,516 ($629 each), three hundred (300) $20 Westfield at $6,000 and four hundred (400) packs (cap, soft toy and sticker book) at $4,000 ($10 each).The winner(s) will be randomly selected at JFC Japan Food Corp (Aust) Pty Ltd, Building D1/16 Mars Rd Lane Cove NSW 2066, Australia. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY AND PRIZE DETAILS
•1. Information on how to enter and claim prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
Entry is open only to Australian residents who purchase and collect 5 barcodes or 10 barcodes from any pack of Meiji's biscuit range (Hello Panda and/or Yan Yan) and post them to the JFC Japan Food Corp (Aust) Pty Ltd office between 8.30am 30 August 2010 to 5pm 30 November 2010. However, employees and their immediate families of JFC Japan Food Corp (Aust) Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
•2. To enter: The competition has 2 tiers:
Tier 1
◦(a) Purchase and collect 5 barcodes from any pack of Meiji's biscuit range (Hello Panda and/or Yan Yan) and post them to JFC Japan Food Corp between 8.30am 30 August 2010 to 5pm 30 November 2010. Contact details such as name, address, phone and email details will also need to be sent.
◦(b) The first 400 to post the 5 barcodes to JFC Japan Food Corp will receive a pack containing a cap, soft toy and a sticker book (including stickers).
◦(c) Additionally purchase and collect 5 more barcodes (10 barcodes in total) from any pack of Meiji's biscuit range (Hello Panda and/or Yan Yan) and post them to JFC Japan Food Corp between 8.30am 30 August 2010 to 5pm 30 November 2010. Contact details such as name, address, phone and email details will also need to be sent.
◦(d) The first 300 to post the 10 barcodes to JFC Japan Food Corp will receive a $20 Westfield Gift Card, as well as a pack containing a cap, soft toy and a sticker book (including stickers). Please note that there are only 400 packs (cap, soft toy and sticker book) and 300 $20 Westfield Gift Cards. Therefore, the prizes are subject to a first come, first go basis and therefore may run out.Tier 2
◦(a) Purchase and collect at least 5 barcodes from any pack of Meiji's biscuit range (Hello Panda and/or Yan Yan) and post them to JFC Japan Food Corp between 8.30am 30 August 2010 to 5pm 30 November 2010. Contact details such as name, address, phone and email details will also need to be sent.
◦(b) All valid entries will go into the draw to win one (1) of four (4) Apple IPads, including all entries from Tier 1.
•3. The four (4) winners will each win an Apple 16GB iPad with Wi-Fi, valued at $629. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
•4. The total prize pool is $12,516. Prizes totals include the four (4) Apple 16GB iPad with Wi-Fi at $2,516 ($629 each), three hundred (300) $20 Westfield at $6,000 and four hundred (400) packs (cap, soft toy and sticker book) at $4,000 ($10 each).•5. If for some unforeseeable reason that JFC Japan Food Corp (Aust) Pty Ltd can not award the prizes as described, they will substitute it for another prize of comparable value.
•6. The winners will be randomly selected at JFC Japan Food Corp (Aust) Pty Ltd, Building D1/16 Mars Rd Lane Cove NSW 2066, Australia. There will be four draws taken (each draw will select one winner to receive an IPad). Draw dates as follows:
■10 November 2010 at 11am
■17 November 2010 at 11am
■24 November 2010 at 11am
■1 December 2010 at 11am
•7. The winner(s) will be notified by phone and email by 10 December 2010 and the winners details will be published on the Promoter's website

•8. The Promoter may conduct a redraw at 11am on 1st March 2011 at JFC Japan Food Corp (Aust) Pty Ltd, Building D1/16 Mars Rd Lane Cove NSW 2066, Australia, if the winner(s) is ineligible for a Prize or if a Prize is unclaimed. The winner will be notified by phone and email by 4th February 2011 and the winner's details will be published on the Promoter's website
www.meiji.com.au/index.html for the period of one month from 3rd March 2011. All winners who receive a prize valued at $250 or more will also be published in the public notices section of The Age on the 18 December 2010.
•9. The claiming and collection of the Prize by the winner will be subject to security and verification checks at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
•10. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, and employees and any other agencies involved in the competition shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) in relation to, arising out of, or in connection with this competition and/or its prize.
•11. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter's decision on all matters pertaining to this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
•12. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter and /or the Promoters' sponsors/agents may use the entrants' names and contact details for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant. The entrants are aware that by entering the competition they will benefit from promotional information communicated to them from the Promoter at any time.
•13. All entrants agree to the use of their name, address and photograph for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, including television, internet, radio and any other forms of media as required, without compensation.
•14. Any entries received after 5pm 30 November 2010 will not be included in the draw and no responsibility is taken by the Promoter for entries not received by this date.
•15. The Promoter is not responsible for entries incorrectly completed/submitted.
•16. Entrants' personal information ("PI") is collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this competition and its winner. The PI of winners may be provided to others to assist in administration of the Program including the supply and fulfillment of the prize. The winners' PI will be retained by the Promoter for only as long as required by law. Inc certain circumstances, the winner's PI may be provided to regulatory authorities upon request. Entrants may contact the Promoter at the address given below to request access to any of their collected PI.
