HOW TO ENTER
To be eligible to enter, entrants must be currently registered as Autograph VIP members with a valid email address. Entrants can enter by either: (1) instore by filling in the entry form and placing it in the box provided/giving it to the store cashier; or (2) online by visiting
www.autographfashion.com.au, and following the prompts to the competition entry page, and inputting the requested competition details (“Tell us in 25 words or less why you deserve to win a P&O Cruise for two (2) to the South Pacific”). Once you have completed all of the requirements, submit the fully completed entry form
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Information on how to enter and the prizes to be won, form part of these ‘Terms and Conditions’. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these ‘Terms and Conditions’.
Entry is open to any registered Autograph VIP member, who is an Australian resident aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s membership details, identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these ‘Terms and Conditions’ or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
More than one entry per person is permitted, subject to the following: each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
Promotion commences at 9am AEDT 01/11/2010 and ends at 5pm AEDT on 21/11/2010 (Promotional Period). All entries must be received by 5pm AEDT on 21/11/2010 at which time entries close. The winning entry will be selected by judges appointed by the Promoter. The winner will be notified by telephone and/or email on or before 3rd December 2010. If the winner cannot be contacted within 45 days after the entry closing date, the prize is forfeited and a new winner will be chosen by the judges.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The chosen valid entry will win the prize, as determined by the judges.
The prize is a P&O Cruise to the South Pacific for two (2) adults for a cruise departing on the 12th May 2011 from Sydney NSW, valued at $4028 (inc GST). The prize includes 9 nights on the Pacific Jewel in a balcony cabin (category BC), with a $100 on board credit. If the winner is a NSW resident the winner will be responsible for all travel costs associated with travel to and from the departure point in Sydney. I
f the winner is a resident of any State/Territory other than NSW the winner will receive flights to the total value of $500 (incl GST). Booking of travel prize is subject to cruise line, accommodation and tour availability and Flight Centre Limited’s Booking Terms and Conditions. This prize cannot be redeemed in connection with any other offer. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming or using the prize are not included, such as levies and charges, passports, extension of stay, additional passengers, tours and any other incidental expenses not stipulated in the prize inclusions.
If the winner/s are unable to travel on the 12th of May departure, an alternative date onboard the Pacific Jewel can be requested up to the value of $4028 (inc GST). Any additional costs associated with other departure dates must be borne by the winner/s. The prize must be taken within one year after 12th May 2011 or it is forfeited.
Standard terms and conditions of traveling on P&O Cruises South Pacific cruises will apply. Winner’s travel will be subject to the booking and passage conditions of the relevant brochure, which must be signed by the winner and their companion.
A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the winner at check-in in order to board Pacific Jewel for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued, they are non-changeable and non-refundable.
It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the travelers.
The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions, or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the website of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Total prize pool value is up to $4028.00 (inc GST) (plus airfares up to a total of $500 including GST if the winner is from outside NSW).
The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion or the award or use of the prize, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize or (g) if the P&O cruise is cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
We strongly recommend you purchase appropriate comprehensive international travel insurance at the time you are named as the winner of this prize. If you do not purchase travel insurance, you will not be able to claim for any cancellation charges, medical costs, repatriation and other expenses that may arise if things do not go according to plan. The Promoter will not take any responsibility for anyone who does not take out comprehensive insurance.
As a condition of accepting the Prize, the winner (and companion) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize supplier in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
