Game of Skill Terms and Conditions for the body+soul Summer special 2XU sporting wardrobe competition
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older who fulfil entry requirements as stated in clause 3. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter this competition.
3. To enter Participants must answer the following question in 25 words or less “what your favourite summer sport is and why?” To answer participants must write their answer on the back of an envelope, together with the name of the prize “2XU”, your name, address, daytime phone number and send it to body+soul summer, News Magazines, Locked Bag 5030, Alexandria NSW 2015.
4. The competition commences at 00.01 (AEDT) on 15/11/2010 and closes at 17.00 (AEDT) on 31/03/2011 (“Entry Period”). Multiple entries will be accepted, however, each entry must be sent in as a separate correspondence.
5. This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity. The best entry as determined by the judges, will win a prize.
6. Judging will take place from 12:00pm (AEDT) on 01/04/2011 at News Magazines 180 Bourke Road, Alexandria, NSW 2015. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from News Magazines.
7. Winners will be notified in writing by 15/04/2011. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
9. The answer judged to be the best will win a 2XU sporting wardrobe, valued at $1,500.
10. Entries must be received by News Magazines during the Entry Period. Entries received after the end date and time will not count towards the competition.
11. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value.
12. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way will be excluded from winning a prize.
13. Once the prize has left the Promoters premises they are not responsible for any late, or damage caused during delivery of the prize.
14. It is the Participants responsibility to contact the promoter with any changes in personal details.
15. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. The name and details of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the prize.
16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of entering this competition, accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
18. News Magazines collects your information to include you in this competition and will disclose the information to others who help us run the competition. We may also use the information to assist us in improving our goods and services and to contact you in the future in regard to our other goods and services.
