Dr Oliver Sacks writes about the myriad ways in which we experience the visual world. He also outlines how in 2005 he discovered he had a malignant tumour in one eye. In turning himself into a case history, Sacks has given us perhaps his most intimate book yet.

To enter this competition, tell us in which year Oliver Sacks was diagnosed with an eye tumour. Write your answer, your name and contact details on the back of an envelope and send to 'Oliver Sacks Competition,' GPO Box 3835 Sydney NSW 2001 or enter online at www.goodreadingmagazine.com.au
