Every Wednesday Pete Rowsthorn has presented us with his Biscuit Of The Week, regaling us with stories of why they hold a special place in his heart.

Now the time has come for us to decide which of these delicious morsels deserves the ultimate title – Biscuit Of The Year!

Vote now and you could win! (Not sure what you win Smile  )

Select a biscuit *
1: BUTTERNUT SNAP - reminds Pete of his mum’s accident in the garden involving a garden rake, the Butternut Snap was used to console his crying mother
2: TIC TOC - Pete recalls as a child accidently hitting his father in the family jewels, he gave his father a TIC TOC biscuit as a peace offering
3: TIM TAM – still bitter that his winning Under 10s team only received the premiership cup, while the losing team got a packet of TIM TAM’S & $1 note
4: MARIE BISCUIT – Biscuit of choice for Grandma Rowsthorn, who served them up till the end
5: CHOCOLATE ROYAL – Childhood memories of getting revenge on his brother, by taking the Royals, and smashing them all on his own head first
6: WAGON WHEEL – Scared as a child, after a fall, the only way his parents could stop him crying… with a Wagon Wheel!
7: SALADA – Called it the friend of the busy mum, who’s forgotten to buy fresh bread. Pete remembers floating them down the drain, like a boat
8: ARNOTT’S CLASSIC ASSORTED – remembers eating a whole pack over an hour, except for the Milk Arrowroot ‘wedgie’ consequences from angry older bro
9: TEE VEE SNACK – a family driving trip to Queensland, at 9 yrs old, Peter ate too many Tee Vee Snacks with a Milkshake making himself sick
10: LEMON CRISP – A very controversial choice… Not a popular biscuit with Grubby & Dee Dee
11: ICED VOVO – More controversy Thought the Iced VoVo came with marshmallow on top Or was that a Strawberry Mallow?
12: GINGER NUT – Chosen as a savoury option… Really? Grubby & Dee Dee weren’t impressed
13: THE SAVOURY SHAPE – Fond memories of kissing a girl for the first time… All went wrong when he realised she had a mouth full of Savoury Shapes

sorry jonmic Wagon Wheels always tasted a bit 'plastic' tome and there are no Mint Slices on the list so strangely I'm highly drawn to the Saladas - days of Vegemite and lashings of butter squished between - no one cared about salt, fat or carbs back then... Smile
