Terms and Conditions
Entrants must enter at myfun.com.au
Entrants must be a Member of the MyFun Club to be eligible to enter the competition. In
joining the MyFun Club entrants will be required to provide various personal details.
In completing the competition entry, entrants will be required to log in and provide an answer
to the question.
Entry into this competition deems acceptance of these terms and conditions. Entry to the
competition is free (excluding internet connection charges). Entry is open to all Australian
residents except employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and associated
companies.
The competition commences on 6/12/2010 and closes at 11:45pm AEST 19/01/2011. Entries
not completed in accordance with the terms and conditions or submitted after the closing date
will not be considered. The judge's decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final
and binding on each person who enters.
The winner (i.e. the closest guess) will be drawn by computer on 01/02/2011 at 9:30am AEST
at Sydney Aquarium, Wheat Road, Sydney, NSW, 2000. The winner will be notified by email
and their name will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on
07/02/2011. The Promoter reserves the right to announce or publish the winner's name and/or
photograph for publicity purposes. In the event of a draw the computer will randomly select
one winner.
The promoter may conduct further draws at same place as original draw on 28/02/2011 to
distribute any prize unclaimed by that date, subject to any written directions given under Reg.
37 of the Lottery & Gaming Regs (1993) SA. In the event that there any winners in the
unclaimed prize draw, their names will be published in The Australian on 07/03/2011.
The judge's decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each
person who enters.
If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize may be awarded to the winner's
parent/guardian on behalf of the winner if the promoter so elects.
The winner will receive 2 x adult and 2 x child Annual Passes for all 4 MyFun Sydney
Attractions, 4 x VIP Passes (QLD), exclusive ‘money can’t buy’ guided tours of Sydney
Aquarium and Sydney Wildlife World for a maximum of 5 (five) people, and $250 worth or
LEGO (pre-determined LEGO products by the promoter to the value of $250). The total prize
pool is valued at $810.
Prizes are neither transferable nor exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The winner releases the Promoter from and indemnifies the Promoter against all liability, cost,
loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the competition
including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or
consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect,
delay in operation or transmission, communication line failures, theft or destruction or
unauthorised access to, or alteration or non-receipt of entrant's communications. The
Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions or any failure of any
internet communication to be received by the Promoter. To the full extent permitted by law,
the Promoter is not liable for any damage to any entrant's (or any other person's) computer
resulting from or otherwise relating to participation in this competition.
