Promoter
1 The Promoters are:
i. Police Credit Union (PCU) – 17-23 Carrington Street, Adelaide SA 5000
ii. Ian Berry Insurance Services (IBIS) – 17-23 Carrington Street, Adelaide SA 5000
iii. QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited (QBE) – Level 2, 82 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000
Duration of Promotion
2. The competition commences 1 December, 2010, and finishes on 31 December, 2010.
Who may enter
3. Entry is open to IBIS customers, aged 18 and over who reside in Australia.
4. Employees and the immediate families of Police Credit Union and its agencies associated with this
promotion are ineligible to enter.
5. All contestants acknowledge that the Promoter can rely on Clause 4 and even if the Promoter only
learns of a person’s ineligibility after the Promoter has appeared to award the prize to the ineligible
person. A redraw of the claim can be required if this occurs and will occur at PCU, 17-23
Carrington Street, Adelaide SA, 5000, on Friday February 4, 2011 at 11am.
Details of prizes and prize values
6. Total prize value is $1,000 – one (1) x $1,000.00 Panasonic Plasma TV. Police Credit Union accepts
no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
7. If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter may
substitute a prize of like or equal value.
8. The prize is non-transferable and may not be provided as cash.
How to enter
9. To enter, a consumer must purchase a new home, contents or motor policy during the promotion
period. Normal underwriting terms and conditions apply.
10. Commercial policies are excluded from this offer.
11. The winner will be drawn from all new policies which are purchased during the promotion period.
Each individual policy counts as one (1) entry only, identified by the policy start date.
12. The winning insurance policy must be current at the time of the prize draw.
Date, time and place of draw
13. The competition prize winner will be drawn at 11am on Friday 7 January, 2011 at Police Credit Union,
17-23 Carrington Street, Adelaide SA 5000.
Prize collection
14. Winners will be notified by phone and mail within seven (7) working days of the draw and will be
advised on how they can claim their prize.
15. Prizes must be claimed in person unless winner is otherwise advised. Police Credit Union reserves
the right to request winners provide proof of identity prior to a prize being awarded. Identification
considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Police Credit Union. The collection of prizes is
the sole responsibility of the winner.
16. Prize will only be awarded following winner validation and verification. The judges’ decision is final and
no correspondence will be entered into.
17. Unclaimed prizes will be dealt with under Regulation 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations (SA)
1993. Unclaimed prize draw will be conducted Police Credit Union, 17-23 Carrington Street, Adelaide
SA 5000, on Friday 4 February, 2011 at 11.00am. Winners of prizes of the unclaimed prize draw will
be notified by phone and mail within seven (7) days of the prize draw and will be advised on how they
can claim their prize.
Name of the newspaper and date on which the results will be published
18. Unless otherwise requested by the winner, the name and suburb of the winner will be published in
The Advertiser (or other main state newspaper dependent on winner’s location) on Friday 21 January,
2011.
Exclusion of Liability
19. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of
any of the goods/services offered as prizes.
20. Police Credit Union accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize
winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
21. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter are not liable for any loss suffered or sustained to
personal property and including, but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by
reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in
connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to
the prize winner(s) and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the winners.
Ownership of Entries
22. All entries become and remain the property of the Promoters (subject to the limits contained in the
Privacy Statement).
Participation
23. Participation in the competition constitutes the entrant’s unconditional agreement to and acceptance
of these ‘Win a Plasma’ Terms and Conditions. Subject to state legislation, these rules may be subject
to change at the promoter’s discretion.

privacy policies.
