I just wanted to say thankyou so much to the OP of the competition, the people who helped me figure out which competition it was and all the lovely people who have said congratulations and sent their well wishes.
I have been comping for about a year and a half now (I usually only enter the non-purchase ones) and have had a few little wins (movie tickets, cds etc.), a few decent wins (an ipod, a phone, video games, cash) and now finally a major prize ($10,000 in flights!) which is the best christmas present I could ever have asked for!
I hadn't won anything in a little while and was kinda slowing down on entering comps but this has definitely made me want to continue (and has prompted many of my friends to want to start up!). I hope it inspires some new compers and people those who havent won in a while to just keep at it, you never know whats just around the corner.
I just wanted to add that when I first joined up I thought that comping forums would potentially be full of spiteful people who are all ripping at each others throats to win prizes, but I have been very pleasantly surprised. ACC is full of lovely and encouraging people who are nothing but happy when anyone from this community wins anything. Its such a great place to come to at the end of a hard day and I love being a part of it.
