A couple of weeks ago I mentioned I would be hosting a giveaway with bling but fell shy of giving you the details. So....
A day or two ago in the mail, I received two gorgeous pieces from namenecklace.com.au to review for my lovely readers. I had one made up with my real name, and the other made up with a friends nickname so I won't spoil it by posting pictures of them on here but I do want to tell you all about them.
What I Love
Firstly, The craftsmanship in these is lovely. They are sterling silver on a gorgeous box style chain with delicate feminine lettering with just the right amount of flourish. One came in the 16' chain in Justine font and the other the 18' Carrie font and both fit nicely around my neck. Depending on your style preference you may like the soft choker effect of the 16' or if you like things a little looser the 18' sits nicely and doesn't hang too low.
These necklaces have a nice sturdy clasp and the plate itself seems sturdy enough to survive a slight knock, though I wouldn't be sleeping in it or wearing it to the gym (I like to be careful). When mailed to you they come in a sweet little gift bag.
The order process seems was simple enough and I like the fact that you can log in and check the status of your order so you know exactly when it has been shipped. Two days after my item was marked as shipped, it was in my mailbox.
Best of all they are an Australian company and you would be supporting something that is made in Australia unlike most others that are shipped from elsewhere.
What I Loathe
The only slight problem was that whilst my order form said the necklaces would be shipped with a polishing cloth, they did not come with one (A quick email later and the lovely people from namenecklace.com.au sent one via the post. So great service fixed that problem)
