TERMS AND CONDITIONS


1. The promoter is The Herald & Weekly Times Pty Ltd (ABN 49 004 113 937) of 40 City Road Southbank, Victoria 3006.

2. Instructions on how to enter form part of the conditions of entry. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

3. Entry is only open to residents of Victoria. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families and ineligible to enter.

4. To enter, readers must go to www.weeklytimesnow.com.au, click the competition button, vote for one of the vote for their favourite dog picture in the gallery and enter their contact details during the Competition Period.

5. The competition commences on Wednesday 15/12/10 and closes at 2pm on Wednesday 5/1/11 (AEST) (“the Competition Period”).

6. Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 4 will be entered into the prize draw. The draw will take place at The Herald & Weekly Times, 40 City Road, Southbank, 3006 at 10am on 5/1/11.

7. Winner will be notified via mail and their names will be published on www.weeklytimesnow.com.au on 5/1/11.

8. The first entry randomly selected will win a photo session by Zoe Phillips with their dog. A suitable time for the photo session will be arranged with the winner.

9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any lost, damaged or misdirected mail.

10. The prize is not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Any additional charges are the responsibility of the winner. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.

11. To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoter excludes liability for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered or sustained (including, but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, loss of opportunity revenue or profit) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this promotion, including attendance at the venue.

12. HWT collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. HWT may share entrants’ information with persons or entities assisting in the conduct of the promotion and with companies who are prize partners. HWT for publicity purposes may use the name and if applicable, image of the winners and persons accompanying the winners.
